I have fun in college towns. I was just in Fayetteville today. By far the BEST Downtown Square in the SEC!

You should re-check your facts. It’s also pointless to compare Starkville to Oxford. Everyone knows what town and school are better.

Oxford is definitely better for living alternative lifestyles.

That’s a wrong take all around. The talent alone walking around oxford is mind blowing and the fact most bars didn’t charge cover was an awesome surprise to me comin from tiger land.

Nice.

I don’t think a person whose username is based off of the guy pictured below has much clue about college town culture (second pic is when he was arrested for aggravated assault on a female):

There are probably not enough titty bars, pawn shops or check-cashing joints in any college town except for Baton Rouge to satisfy your cultural leanings.

No-it’s watching Miss. State posters make asses of themselves by using the presence of Kroger, KFC and Waffle House in Starkville as indicators of college town superiority.

Little bro gonna little bro.

It's pathetic honestly. Not growing up a fan of either school till I went to Ole Miss, I didn't realize how much MSU fans liked to insert themselves into any conversation involving us.

Oxford would be better if the square was right next to campus.

most colleges have a strip of restaurants, bars, clothing stores, etc next to campus even if it is not the city's downtown area. that's what i mean
