Oklahoma was a dirty, thuggish, bunch of shite talkers that delivered cheap shots on the reg, and I wish Saban would not have called for the victory formation at the end.
Punting, Kick Offs, and anything else having to do with Bama kicking is pure estrogen.
Bama got really sloppy, and didn't finish the game, and let them stay in the game for four quarters. That was a huge disappointment especially considering the early 28-0 lead.
How the frick is it possible for a team to kickoff from the 10, and Bama get the ball at the 20 ? Talk about a moment that killed all momentum. What could Brian Robinson possibly been thinking on that play ? Someone tweet him, and ask him to explain.
Why is no one asking about the job Pete Golding is doing with the ILB's ? This has been the worst LB play of the Saban era. Maybe it's the players, but no one has questioned Pete Golding.
If I never hear Chris Fowler call another game that'd be fine with me.
Another Bama game another five guys dinged up/injured so that awful trend continues.

From what I understand, there is a lot of internal learning/growth happening with Golding and Lupoi basically being joint DC's. I've now read multiple beat writers/insiders saying that there hasn't been much simplification in the calls for Mack which normally for a player struggling like he has would be the logical next step. Whether that is a new DC who hasn't called one before issue or a Saban decision, I think that is a huge part of the problem.
Moses is basically in the Ragland/Reuben role from their first years where he is a heat seeking missile who only vaguely understands his actual responsibilities. His coverage has gotten better as the year has progressed so I'll give credit to Golding for that.

Meh. Not exactly. You are forgetting that we are among the nation's best in yards given up on returns. We're 5th in the country in punt return defense. That may not seem like a big deal...until people start running kicks back.

Oklahoma is by far the dirtiest team we have played all year, and the refs let them get completely out of control. Especially their OL.
Fowler and Herbstreit should apologize for that bullshite performance. I usually try to give the commentary team a pass, but holy shite that was fricking horrible. It was legitimately the worst I have ever heard. Between riding the midget's dick all night, excusing or ignoring the constant dirty play from Oklahoma, and just generally cheerleading for Oklahoma the whole damn game I finally muted it.
Mack Wilson sucks and I wish he was going pro.
We should have given Jacobs the ball one more time because Oklahoma's bitch arse players deserved to have it run up on them.

Alabama won so my only complaint is why was OU #75 not tossed from the game with a second personal foul. The official knew what he was doing and pulled him away fro Q but chose not to drop the flag. Bush League officiating!

They are usually my favorite crew but they were awful last night. Really bad. Got a feeling that with Herbie’s kids going to Clemson, he will be insufferable next Monday.

I dont know if this is what you're referring to, but I'm trying to figure out why we started at the 20 instead of the 25 when they said we called a fair catch on the oklahoma kick off.

To Herbie's credit, with the way he bent over backwards not to show homerism towards the Buckeyes that basically got him ran out of Ohio, I'm going to guess most neutral observers will think he leans Bama next week.
Of course they were pumping OU in the broadcast. After the initial Bama onslaught it was looking like a Mike Tyson 1st round KO. They were trying to maintain an audience. And as much as a tool bag as I think he is, Murray is a dynamic player and the reigning Heisman Trophy winner. Their broadcast didn't annoy me that badly.

Pete Golding can't give Mack Wilson or Dylan Moses instincts.

from the right hash our punter kids the ball to the left sidelines and it goes out of bounds around the 25. He would have done better had he just kicked it into the end zone.

I can't find the pic anymore but how the frick was that an illegal formation? I stared at it on Twitter for a good 5 minutes and I'm lost.
I couldn't hear the announcers... was that actually an illegal formation or did 1 guy just forget how to count for a split second?

Really my only complaint is I felt like we let OU off the hook a little. I understand the thinking, but I disagree with it. We got conservative and ran the ball when they were giving us the pass. We could have scored 60 on that team. A win is a win, but by running the ball so much, we let them cut into the lead and gain confidence.
