He was also a raging alcoholic and slapped his wife around regularly.
What a fine hero you have at Alabama.

Unrelated, but I always got a kick out hearing my grandmother and grandfather talking about seeing Bryant, and Majors eating at a steak house just east of Columbus, I went as a kid, but can’t remember the name. Apparently the boys liked their liquor (as did my papa). Just wish I could have seen that. And I think they saw Bryant there more than once.

How sweet. So now Georgia fans take a
cue from LSU fans , in an attempt to conceal
their fear over a looming arse kicking and start
displaying severe psychological dysfunction.

A lot old school Bama fans loath the fact that a non white QB is playing so well at Bama. Andrew Zow was refered to as that N* quarterback for most of his career. Heard some of that talk about Blake Sims also but not as bad as in the past. Maybe they are growing up a little.

Being racist is as Bama as raping your sister when you turn 13. It’s what they do.

The above is untrue.
Bryant had a Black player on his team before they played USC in 1970.
Wilbur Jackson was a freshman in 1970 and couldn't play until 1971
In 1971 both Wilbur Jackson and John Mitchell(Juco Transfer) started at Alabama.
Bryant Offered Mitchell a full time coaching position on his staff in 1973.

Already had Wilber Jackson on the roster.
Use actual facts when trolling.
True, Wilbur was a freshman and couldn't play because freshmen weren't eligible back then.
Funny fact for the Georgia fan.
Georgia didn't sign any black players until 1971. They played their first games in 1972.

That’s suck cause my father played for him.. and guess what?? We’re black buddy. Like sharpie burnt popcorn black. My father credited him for the man he is today.. and speaks nothing but good things about him. The man hated weakness and pushed for greatness. You would fail his test

Bear Bryant was the greatest and will always be the most highly esteemed football coach for Kentucky fans.

Dumbass. Bryant tried yo integrate for years prior and the political climate in the state because of the racism of others prevented him from doing so.
That game was scheduled for a reason. Alabama was coming off a shitty season and had no chance to beat USC. Bryant wasn't a dumb racist. He was the exact opposite. He knew they'd probably get their was kicked at home by a superior and integrated team and that would help the push to integrate his teams.
Was this some civil rights do it for the right thing deal? No. He wanted to win. But it's not like he was a racist that didn't realize this year's earlier.
Shitty troll is shitty.
And as others said your program integrated later and Georgia was a racist shite hole back in the day too buddy.

Just curious...do you really believe there is fundamental difference between Alabama and Auburn fans other than the teams they root for?
There isn’t. You apparently just associate with racists

I've seen Sylvester Croom well up in tears talking about Bryant and his influence 30 years after his death. Race was irrelevant to Bryant. There's a reason that those who played for him still revere him.
The man did love his Jack Daniels, though.
