That was one of those perfect storm games, like Auburn last year. We turned it around and beat them a few weeks later....badly. I wouldn't use the LSU game as the measuring stick.

The transitive property does not work in Football...just ask Florida.

Now I'm not saying we beat bama, cause I don't think we can....but I'd look at the rest of our games as well and not just the LSU as it seems to be more the anomaly at this point.

We will see how we handle Auburn and GT.

Don’t fool yourselves. There is a ceiling. LSU tried to out-Bama Alabama and they fail. UGA will also. You have to build a different way to attack them. UGA is the new 2011-2018 LSU, nothing more.

You can argue that Georgia is ahead of Alabama in year 3 of both programs, I know Bama won a title in year 3. Kirby did inherit a chit ton of talent with fertile recruiting base.

It will be more like 40-28.

Our offense will be able to run our your defense and our receivers are bad matchups for your Db’s.

The score will appear closer than it really is even at those numbers.

Don’t be surprised if Fields plays a good bit too.

So a guy that isn't allowed to run the offense or throw is going to be the key to the game?

Could be. He could help get the running game going for sure.

Georgia has played two teams ranked in the top 80 in total offense. Those teams are Missouri who is ranked 18th and South Carolina ranked 63rd. The only good offensive team is Missouri and Missouri’s offense was effective against them with 26 first downs, gaining almost 400 yards, and scoring 29 points. Also, LSU had 275 rushing yards and 475 total yards against Georgia. Georgia’s a very overrated defensive team whose defensive numbers have been skewed by the competition that they have played this season.

Our defense will be chasing its own tail against Bama. Yalls receivers are just too damn good.

I do think Fromm getting his head out of his arse, Holloman emerging as this year's Javon Wims and Swift getting back to full strength has made our offense one to be reckoned with. We definitely won't get shut out like LSU did.

I'm feeling Bama 42 - Georgia 20 right now. arse kicking.

2019 will be the best team we've fielded in years, especially if 90+% of our draft-eligible guys come back.

Hope you're right! Don't think we give Bama much of a fight this year (Bama is better, we are worse vs last year), but hoping 2019+ we start putting elite teams on the field.

Either way, proud to be controlling the east like we never have before since the start of me being a fan.

We essentially asked our nickel front 6 to stop the Missouri team's rushing attack (Missouri had a tight end and runningback)
That is 6 blockers for 6 defenders.
Allowing those rushing yards doesn't mean anything because it was a formula for victory. Over 4 quarters, we knew we could outscore them if all they could do was run the football.

The LSU game is more relevant. They were kicking field goals early in the game because of our inept offense. The question will be if Fromm can be better on a neutral field against a great defense. He will be needed to step up big time in order to keep Tua on the sideline.

The only chance for UGA to keep it close is to put pressure on Tua rushing 4 and blitzing one on occasion. With out pressure you will lose big.
Not saying you will not score, but I don't think you can outscore Bama.

I love how much Bama fans are overlooking UGA. UGA is hitting their stride, and will beat Bama in December. UGA wins 28-24
