Looks like this will be another Alabama-LSU battle.
What do my LSU friends have to say about his recruitment so far?
Oh, and spare us that nonsense going around your board about Alabama fans saying Sopsher won't qualify. None of us who follow Alabama recruiting have seen anything of the sort on our boards. Stop making up shite. This thread is for decent recruiting conversation.

He got blown up at camps this summer. Surprised he is still rated as high as he is.

There’s no denying the dude has talent, but his work ethic definitely seems concerning at the the least. He seems like he carries a good bit of bad weight into these camps, and now those rumors about not qualifying (whether founded or unfounded, generally rumors start from something) make me think he’ll be somewhat of a project to help snap into the college regimen.
By no means am I saying I don’t want him in our class. I’d love to have him. LSU would love to have him, but there are some red flags.
I pretty much expect him to go to Bama. If he doesn’t, I’ll be pleasantly surprised. I have to think getting Lee and Palmer would help us at least a little bit.

Qualifying is never a problem for Bama,everyone is aware of that.If a kid can play football it doesn’t matter.You always come off as a lil antagonizing bitch when it comes to LA recruits going to Bama.If he wants to go there he will because judging from history qualifying won’t be an issue,e.g. Eddie Lacy

I'm confused. I feel like Alabama fluctuates each day as to whether or not they even want Sopsher.
Also it seems like every camp he goes to, his stock drops a little. I'm still laughing my arse off his profile went from 6'5" 280 to 6'3" 350
the only thing I trust ed orgeron with his defensive linemen, so if he wants sopsher then he must be pretty talented

I would be shocked if LSU and especially alabama offered a nobody brother for the chance at landing a DT that's looked slightly above average at every camp

Oh lsu for sure.
It doesn't matter if his stock is dropping or not. It doesn't matter if he completely flops. It doesn't matter if he's found in back of a Chevy impala with a heroin needle in his arm.
What matters is the PR problem for coach whiteboots if he misses on a five star amite defensive tackle.
He'll take three Rodney's to secure this kid.

We both did it a few years ago with Leonard Fournette's brother who was a mediocre prospect.
