Margin of victory wouldn't have been as large for the season and I don't think he beats Notre Dame.

Mizzou is a lot scarier and South Carolina potentially beats us.

Oh, and some 3* backup QB comes in to replace Eason instead of Fromm who is probably at South Carolina with Kirby.

No way we beat Auburn in a rematch, either.

We probably lose Notre Dame as well w/o Fromm.

Is this in an alternate universe where he recruits all the same players?

Kirby is still at Alabama waiting on the Georgia job to open.

Fromm signs with Alabama. Tua goes to Oregon or USC.

Pruitt is still at UGa as DC.

Tennessee is still looking for a head coach. Fulmer steps in as interim for a year.

Even if Richt were still our coach there is a 0% chance Pruitt would still be at UGA. He wore out his welcome with the administration and other coaches on the staff.

Mark Richt would have won the NC Game. No way does he choke like Kirby and Chaney did.

So CMR would've called the exact same play vs App State
at the exact same part of the game? And Eason gets hurt
the exact same way?

Kinda of a stretch don't you think?

Agreed that CMR would've probably lost to ND and AUBBIE in a rematch though.

Garbage. He was the best part of CMR's staff and had turned around the defense, stepped up recruiting and lobbied hard for the IPF.

Woulda been career suicide for CMR to dump em.

You’re a moron, because Richt choked numerous games away. We would have never even been in the national championship had Richt been here. We wouldn’t have even won the SEC.

He hammered Notre Dame with Miami this season. Why wouldn't he have done it with a more talented squad?

Early game, rather than late... on the road rather than at home... It's a decent enough point of difference, but I can say I would have been less comfortable going into the game with CMR than I was with Kirby... couldn't predict the outcome though given all the variables that go in... is Eason healthy? If not, who is his backup (since Richt didn't recruit Fromm)... Hypothetical goes off the rails a bit at that point.

The hungry, beginning of his career, Richt probably does about the same as Kirby.

The exasperated, sick of McGarity, Richt that we saw in the last couple of years at UGA likely wins 9-10 games and wishes he had taken the Miami job when it was available.

well in only 2 seasons Kirby has already choked away his fair share as well. Also, Kirby has yet to do anything Richt didn't do. Your chance at the NC was a once in a generation type event. Going to be a longtime before you get back.

Same thing. UGAs schedule was shite and anyone could have beaten that crippled beat up AU team in the mulligan game in UGAs backyard.
