Georgia could very well move into the #2 spot next season... a spot Tennessee has held for generations.
It's not unfathomable that Tennessee could drop from #2 to #6 within 15 years at the rate things have been going.

UT and UGA with the same amount of wins and LSU and UF with the same amount after 84 seasons. That's crazy.

It’s clear Tennessee is no longer the #2 program in the SEC.
They no longer have the second most SEC titles. And conference wins will soon be surpassed by Georgia. They’ve only got all-time wins in their favor over Georgia or LSU.

And they only have 2 AP titles (Vol@Shaft said those are the only ones that matter).

Looks like LSU will re-pass Florida next season.

Historically, they still are.
Their lead over Georgia, LSU, and Florida has certainly dwindled over the past decade or so, though.

Clearly that’s no longer the case.

Those 2 charts don't add up. Thru 2016 it says Auburn is 309-244-18, one year later Auburn is 314-253-19. What gives ?

Should be noted that Auburn has played more big 6 schools that any other of the big 6 and it's not close. UF is closest but a full 16 games (4 seasons) behind and LSU is 83 games behind AU in games played against the big 6.

Hid from #1 for decades.
Objection overruled.

It's not on my end. That's straight from the latest media guide.

I've found that the media guide usually has quite a few errors and inconsistencies in the way they report this stuff.
