But I think the offense acquits itself against Bama.

*still don't think we win, but I think it's more of a game than anything they've faced.

There's a decent chance that the Alabama defense outscores our offense. Meh pass protection, true fish qb, young receivers, Noel fricking Mazzone... Yea we're gonna get trashed.

Yep, turn overs will be the difference between humiliation and respectable loss

Still wonder what would've happened if you eliminate the 3 pick sixes from 2015

Our one advantage going into this game is the overall health of our team. Outside of Starkel (who honestly is a wash with Mond) and Donovan Wilson, every major contributer from the initial two-deep is available and reasonably healthy. Bama is down six players off their initial two-deep and several defensive players are playing hurt. Essentially all of their highly regarded pass rushers are injured.

Now I'm convinced Bama could play their second string the entire game Saturday and still win by two touchdowns, but it's at least worth mentioning.

Saban has only gone undefeated one time in his entire coaching career so we have that going for us.

It's only mildly delusional.

Aggies have to play 4 quarters like the 4th against USC.

Absolutely must have no turnovers, because those assholes will capitalize in a heartbeat. On the flipside, force fumbles and grab an interception or two (though 5 would be better :-))

Excellent ST play with no fumbles and a couple of long returns.

And with all that... Bama still wins. But it might be an interesting game in the 4th if the Aggies play perfectly.

Make Mond one dimensional and it spells trouble. To beat Bama we need gamebreakers, and we need those gamebreakers in one on one situations. Trayveon is a game breaker. Kirk is a gamebreaker. Ausbon might even be one as well. Can Mond figure out how to get them the ball? I don't think he's that guy yet.

Didn't even move my meter. We're going to be lucky to keep it within 40.

73-14, final score.

You can prevent unforced turnovers, which we obviously need to do, but you can't expect a true fish qb who's facing new, devious blitzes and relentless pressure behind a shaky OL to avoid all of them.

He's probably going to throw 2-3 picks. That's just what happens in this situation.

Not trying to be the perpetual pessimist, but Saban feasts on this type of opponent. His defense has enough experience to grasp his technical scheme and plays, so they aren't just getting by on athleticism (which they also possess in spades).

They will be fast and confusing. They will disguise their blitzes and coverages. And they will do these things while hitting him repeatedly and making him rush his reads. That's the recipe for bad decisions and turnovers, so we shouldn't be surprised when they happen.

Turnovers will be the difference between 38-6 and 56-3
