Line is A&M -10 right now.

I think that's about right but I just saw a stat where A&M is something like 0-10 in their last SEC home games at night. Is that true? There had to have been some upsets in there, so tells me we have a chance. This is the game that will likely set the tone for each team the rest of the way.

I think our offense will be better than it was this week simply because we got some freshman WRs some experience last week with Deebo being out. La Tech had hangover type game written all over it, plus I think they are actually a good team and will win C-USA this year. I just hope our defense can slow y'all down enough to keep the game in the 20s because the only way we win is if its like 24-21 type game.

For the record, I don't see us being able to keep up but I think we cover the 10 points.

Don't even think this one will be close. We don't have the horses on offense to keep up. Our bend but don't break defense will get broken more often than not.

This one could get ugly.

A&M rolls. A little of Sumlin's seat heat transfers to Champ

I have no idea what the actual # is. But this really has zero barring on the outcome of the game.

Mond is developing but still not a high-level passer. He rarely gets time with our shite pass blocking. His running ability makes him a little dangerous. As bad as USC's pass D is, he still isn't likely going to light you up.

Overall our offense is adequate because we can run the rock. USC didn't struggle per say, but they didn't exactly stop Mizzou or Kentucky on the ground. They went for 178 (4.81) & 184 (3.91). We're averaging 333 yards per game vs our 2 P5 opponents at 6.35 per rush.

With Deebo out, USC loses it's big play ability in the pass game and KO returns. A&M still has Kirk in both to give the USC ST & D nightmares.

We suck, but I think we suck less than you. -10 sounds about right. I wouldn't be shocked if either team won though.

I think both of these teams are better than they are being given credit for & either team could win

I like ATM to win & SC to cover

Won't be surprised if Cocks win though

I'd bank on it being a one score game going into the 4th quarter. It's a 50/50 toss up IMO.

Both the A&M offense and defense are boom and bust.

A&M offense can put up a bunch of explosive big plays that take up huge chunks of yards but then will go three and out 4 straight times.

The Aggie defense has been pretty good about giving opposing QBs hell and causing turnovers but has also been incredibly susceptible to giving up big plays on blown coverage and big chunks of yards to the ground game.

We have our worst team in 7 years and a lame duck coach

We process the gamecocks like the trash they are and proceed to have the same done to us the next week.

We win by 13+

Is South Carolina better than Arkansas? (Serious question.) Because we barely beat Arkansas.

Mond has talent but is still learning. The defense can stop a drive when they have to, but then gets lost at times...

It's damn frustrating

This should be a good game. If A&M plays up to the talent level, it will be a comfortable win.

That rarely happens though. It will be a close game in the 4th that could go either way.

A&M hasn't had that many SEC home games at night.

2012 - Missouri: 59-29 WIN
2014 - Ole Miss: 20-35 LOSS
2014 - Missouri: 27-34 LOSS
2014 - frickLSU: 17-23 LOSS
2015 - Mississippi State: 30-17 WIN
2015 - Auburn: 10-26 LOSS
2016 - Ole Miss: 28-29 LOSS
2016 - frickLSU: 34-59 LOSS

A&M has only had 8 total SEC home games at night.

Our problem is we are all or nothing on both sides of the ball.

On offense, we either score a TD quickly in 1-5 plays or go nowhere. On defense, we either get a sack/turnover or give up a 50 yard TD.

There is no inbetween. When we string together a bunch of these big plays on both sides of the ball you get the first half of the UCLA game. When we don't, you get the second half.

Muschamp wins. His defense has given Sumlin trouble in the past.

The problem for USC is this: they're not very good. The problem for us is that we're not very good, either. But we are VERY young and are getting better each week.

We don't really know which A&M team will show up, though.

A&M is much more talented and if Mond plays well, then A&M wins comfortably.

I will pull for the Cocks.

Of course the A&M fans will pull cocks too.

Seriously I think SC is a better team and wish y'all the best.

SC +10 jumps out and looks good on paper. Especially with the pessimism surrounding the A&M program. However, SC has lost a significant play maker. One you need to win on the road in the SEC, and cover the spread one could argue. As a Hog fan and realizing we're trash, I was impressed with what I saw from Mond. I was impressed with SC against NC St. also, and as my favorite to win the East, I'm have 5th thoughts about that after KY and LT games. In a game where there will be a lot of possessions, for both teams, A&M should cover the 10. Possibly rather easy.

Muschamp's teams have played better away from home than they have in Columbia. But that doesn't say much- he's been right at .500 through his tenure. I have zero confidence in Carolina's ability to beat anyone. aTm covers.

I think we've played like 18 true freshman this year or something like that.

Night games at Kyle are insane. First SEC home game of the season and its a night game, the 12th man will show the frick up.

There will be a lot of energy in the locker room and emotion on the field.

Right now QB play hasn't really mattered all that much up until this point because the staff isn't letting Kellen Mond use his legs, we've had like 5 designed QB runs in the last 3 games with a duel threat quarterback. They're not letting him run because we don't have a solid back up, Starkel broke his ankle in the opener and then Hubenak has been injured since fall camp, that leaves non-scholarship walk-on as QB2.

Defense struggles really only with misdirection plays and the long ball. D-line is solid, LB's are 1000x better than they were last year, safety is a strong point in our defense but we're still without Donovan Wilson so some young guys are sharing free safety atm.

Our best position group is undoubtedly our RB's, we have 4 or 5 solid guys that can play. You'll likely only see T.Williams and Keith Ford until the 4th quarter and Kendall Bussey will be put in, that'll be the fatal wound for you all, a fresh solid RB coming in the 4th quarter.

I think it'll be close heading into half time, within a score either way, and we'll comfortably win in the 2nd half.
