What records are you expecting this year, could he get fired year 1 if you go 8-4? How many seasons without winning the West will he get? 2?3?4?

He doesn't have to rebuild the program, I mean we hear it all the time from your fans how LSU has more talent than everyone not named Bama. (Aubie has as much or better this year as LSU) So that can't be an excuse not at least finishing 2nd

Does he get a pass this year regardless of the record?

I know I frick with y'all a lot on here but I am genuinely asking and want to know your thoughts on what he has to do to keep the job over the next 1-3 years and beyond.

You have to give him at the very least 3 years if he doesn't get caught breaking rules. I'm predicting 3 losses for LSU this year, but LSU might be one of the hardest teams to predict on how good they'll be this season.

I would venture to guess that the clock will begin ticking toward 0's termination late in the evening on the first Saturday in November. Momentous LSU events always seem to occur that time of year.

Auburn almost won 2 national championships in 4 years with 2 of the most sorry coaches on planet earth.

Which is quite something considering how shitty their athletics are historically.

I keep seeing these "how many years until Coach O is fired/run out of town" posts. And while for many he wasn't the first or even second choice, he is a tireless worker, top notch recruiter, and seems willing to allow coordinators to coordinate. He was 6-2 last year. The Florida loss was a yard from a win. The Bama loss was as close a game as anyone else in the SEC gave them. Every other game was a beatdown win.

I think several other SEC coaches will see the door before Coach O does.

Until the administration can entice Arranda to take it.

He can survive one 8 win season in his first 3 years. Any more losses he'll be out. That's my prediction.

LSU hasn't recruited the trenches well the last several years. We get great skill position talent but have lacked overall inntnghe trenches. That is why bama and others have beaten us.

When we start getting the beasts on the o line and d line, we will again be competing with whoever for the west. Regardless of our coach.

3 years unless one of them is a losing season. You go 6-6 in year 1 or year 2. Him and Alleva can gtfo.

He's the CEO. He doesn't have to do nothing but stand on the sidelines and let the assistants coach.

I think he makes it at least the amount of time it takes for saban to retire. Then we can begin to wonder what coaches will get the job at either

Honestly, I see coach orgeron doing very well and staying st LSU a long time, like 10 years plus. I believe he is just what this program/state needs to get LSU football back where it should be and I think he is the coach that will do it. Let's be real here, he hasn't had the talent and in-state recruiting that he should dominate if he does well his first year or 2. Orgeronimeaux finna eat.

LSU's '17 record 10-2.

Considering LSU has outrecruited bama on the defensive side of the ball these last two classes combined tigers are looking great for the future on that side the ball.

On offense everything in place for great future except OTs. Need some of those big uglies.

Aranda is currently one of the best in college football hopefully we keep him at least two more seasons. Most likely move would be to NFL. Canada should be in BR at least three years if successful.

If we lose either or both in the next couple of seasons that would likely mean whichever coordinator that leaves was very productive and LSU was successful. Then CEO just signs the next great coordinator.

When it is all said and done it will be LSU and CEO that has the last laugh.

I'll give him 2 years. He has talent on the roster it's not like he's rebuilding the program.

What you really want to know is if this head coach LSU will be the second buffoon in a row and 3rd overall to win a national title at LSU.

Yes, somehow, without actually coaching a lick, he will.

LSU has more talent on their roster top to bottom than auburn does every year. This year is no exception. LSU is the only team in the SEC that can compete with bama strictly based on its talent alone...Les miles proved this much is true lol. One thing is for sure, LSU wasnt going to be in a competitive game with bama (with a chance to win at the end in most games)because of Les out-coaching Saban. Our talent by itself makes LSU a good team that can beat anyone in the nation on any day. There's not many teams that can say that, but LSU definitely can, and it's true.
