Former Bama receiver sues Lane Kiffin

In the complaint, submitted Tuesday in Shelby County, Ala., where Carter resided, he claims Kiffin deliberately misled him regarding a job on the FAU football staff in order to benefit from his family relationship with a prospect.

Wow, I haven't heard AC Carter's name in years. Title is a bit misleading, the fact that AC Carter played at Alabama and this being Lane Kiffin really have nothing to do with eachother. He didn't play for Kiffin at Alabama.
AC Carter played at Alabama under DuBose and Fran. He was a graduate assistant at Alabama early in the Saban era.

AC is suing an employee of a university because he couldn't pass the background check?
I know most of you guys, particularly LSU fans, have never had the occasion to hire employees, but this is how life works. You don't pass the check, you don't get the job.

I'll hedge a little for BAMA, I'm sure Saban convinced everyone he could keep an eye on Freshwater.. maybe.
But any program moving forward that associates with Kiffin is pure garbage.

Terrible. So one guy gets hired after a recent DUI but Carter couldn't be because of a misdemeanor? He was screwed.
