If we land both juco lineman and a new qb with the receivers we're bringing in do we have a shot at being decent next year?

yes, as in 7/5 decent!

I'd kill a hitchhiker for a 7-5 season at this point.

Sadly, that's just how sad and far the program has fallen.

7-5 after 2-10 would be hella impressive.

Brewster left A&M, any of their recruits that we might be able to swing back?

Morris is on his way for his in home with KB. I expect some of you to post some pay board updates here for some of us with the poors currently.

Coach Chavis supposedly visiting Christopher Russell every week until he signs somewhere. He must want Russell pretty bad.

I figured we were going to go all in on lakia henry. I am just not sure where we can sign one unless Myles brooks decommits. Literally has been dead silent on him since he committed.

Arkansas' entire offensive coaching staff and Chad Morris will begin their visit with Kelly Bryant at 1:30 p.m. eastern, so 12:30 p.m. our time. As we said last week here on the board and on 103.7 The Buzz this week, we're under the impression that it's down to Arkansas and Missouri, and as of right now it's up in the air. "50-50" is all I keep hearing, so obviously today's visit is crucial. There are some reasons for optimism. Several sources have said that Bryant told the coaches, some players and even certain recruits during his official visit here that he would "be back in January." There's also been word that he told some during his Mississippi State visit that he was going to Arkansas. On the other hand, Arkansas had a very ugly ending to its season, Missouri also feels great about where they're at with him, and evidently Auburn does too, so there's a lot floating around out there and it's hard to know exactly what's true or not. I know there are plenty of reports that have pretty much dismissed Arkansas as a real contender, and I certainly don't believe that's the case. If it were, I doubt he would have maintained so much contact with the staff to this point, and you'd certainly like to think that, based on his close relationship with Morris, he wouldn't waste their time today if they had no shot at him. I still can't call it. If I could make a Crystal Ball prediction, I'd have it set to "foggy" at this point because I think that's the best way to describe it. Hopefully we'll learn more after today's in-home.

I appreciate his interest but he's not good enough to be worth all this blue-balling.

Dude's just trying to make an informed decision on his future. It's not like this is getting strung out past signing day or something.

As some others have said, it is almost more important to us as a national story than he is as a player. The story over him seems to be growing each day.
In general, I agree with your remarks though. I have never been as high on him as most but obviously he would still be a good get.

The only information i have seen is that the visit went good. Not a single other detail has been discussed. He will visit auburn this weekend.

I agree, the national 'splash', especially with recruits in the south, would be a very positive thing.

Yea nobody seems to have much information other than they were there 5ish hours with him and we were able to answer all of his questions.
Maybe more will come out today, but nobody seems overly optimistic about our chances.
He starts his OV with Auburn today, so we really need some more Gus drama before the 4th

Five hours? Hope he wasn't thinking 'I wish y'all would finish up and leave' after about an hour. I know five would seem awfully long to me.

Davenport says we've been in contact with another QB in case we don't get Bryant, didn't say if it was a JUCO or another grad transfer though.
