"I knew. I mean, I watch on tape, I watched all the Big Ten film and all that stuff. This is the best conference in college football. It's the deepest, it's the most competitive. You look at the head-to-head records against the SEC. ... You don't want to play a team from this conference. You just don't. I don't care; name one. That's why we're ready. That's why we're ready to go play Oklahoma two years in a row. That's why we're ready to go play Ohio State two out of the last four years. We're ready, because of what we see week in and week out in this conference."

False statement.
The ACC is a 1-division league with 2 elite teams.

He is right, in his opinion

Why can't he just brag about his own team?
You don't see Alabama winning then Saban saying how great the SEC is

Hard to argue, SEC only one close. ACC lots of good QBs this year.
SEC was bad this year though.

From top to bottom, the coaches in the ACC are better.

Can't argue with that.

He's right, and who gives a shite? No one stays on top forever. It's a fact of life, and indefinite dominance by one conference wouldn't be good for the sport, anyway. The pendulum always swings.

Challenge has been issued. ACC was maligned for about 20 years straight because it was hot garbage.
By all the metrics the ACC is the best conference right now. SEC second. Big10 distant 3rd.

He's right. Florida State should have a good chance to win it all next year and Clemson's defense is good enough to ride them to an Orange Bowl even without Watson.

He's right, at least for this season. No one can argue. When the supposed second best team loses 5 games, how can anyone say the SEC is better?

In the regular season, the Big Ten was the best conference.
Ohio State 11-1
Penn State 11-2
Michigan 10-2
Wisconsin 10-3
Nebraska 9-3
The PAC 12 had 2 schools (USC, Washington) finish in the top 5 of the final AP poll.

I could see the ACC having a good run going forward, and there's only a few CFB programs that can compete with their top teams right now.

Means nothing according to the SECr. Look at the 2013 East division

They absolutely were this year.

Funny how this conference is always the benchmark though.
