Sure you can. You don't define for me or anyone else the best we have ever seen. Don't be such a lil bro for a change.
Having the best talent doesn't always equate to being the best teams. That holds true to both teams in 2011. Stop thinking your self worth is dependent on a football team, big bro.

2011 Oklahoma State would have certainly lost to LSU. Team was beyond soft. LSU was a better and faster version of Stanford that season.
And Texas Tech would never beat any of Saban's good Alabama teams haha. TTU would get punished on the lines, even those years when they get big offensive lines, those guys are so unathletic. Bama brings in the linemen who punish you.

No doubt 04 AU would have drilled Oklahoma. Jason White would have gotten his arse lit up just like he did against USC. Auburn and USC would of been a better match up..still don't think AU could of beaten USC. They certainly wouldn't of gotten blown out by 36 points though.

Yeah 2004 was definitely the best Auburn team I've ever seen. Think they could have taken USC to the brink possibly.
The 2013 team was a Cinderella and the 2010 team was like last year's Villanova basketball team. They may have won, but every hardcore fan knows there were four or five teams that could have smacked them around.

You must not be very old to not have one of the Nebraska teams in your top 5...my top 2 would have both of 'em:
1a. 1971 Nebraska: The only team to ever beat the #2, #3, and #4 teams (from the final AP poll). Twice it faced the #2 rated team during the season (Oklahoma & Alabama). Won one of the best games I've ever watched, the Game of the Century, 35-31 against Oklahoma that year. Walked all over Bama for the championship in the Orange Bowl.
1b. 1995 Nebraska: Destroyed practically every team they played. Trailed only once all season. Beat 4 teams that finished in the top 10 by an average of 31 points. Trounced a previously undefeated Florida team that ruled the SEC that season in the championship game.

I still dc what happened in the NC, that 2011 LSU team is still the best team I've ever seen in my life. Had January 9th, 2012 not gone down the way it did, more people would be say how it was. But it went down that way so we're in the convo with the 03 Oklahoma, 05 USC, 02 Miami, 86 Oklahoma, 83 Nebraska, and 94 Penn State.

I've heard the '95 Nebraska team was dominant. That was a little before I started following CFB though.
That '99 Nebraska team was superb. I remember they almost jumped Virginia Tech in the BCS even though they had a loss because VT played in the weak east and the Big 12 was a powerful conference. Yeah, that would have been a great title game. FSU vs. Huskers

1995 Nebraska
quote:
The Cornhuskers scored 638 points (53.2 per game) while only allowing 174 (14.5 per game). Their average margin of victory was 38.6 points, and their lowest margin of victory, against Washington State, was 14 points. They are regarded by many as the greatest college football team of all time.

Nebraska won the final Big Eight Conference football championship in 1995, as the league expanded to form the Big 12 Conference the following season. The Cornhuskers successfully defended their national championship by beating Florida in the Fiesta Bowl 62–24.

Actually not a bad list. Except FSU 2013 was very lucky.
I agree with you that Alabama in 2012 was Saban's best team. And I also agree that 2001 Miami was the best all time.

Auburn would have crushed Oklahoma, and USC/AU might have gone down as one of the biggest college games in history. From a statiscal perspective Auburn had the #5 ranked defense in the country in 2004 and #5 YPPA offense. USC had the #6 defense and the #8 YPPA offense.
The NFL thought 2004 Auburn was very good. #2, #5, #10, #25 first round draft pi
Good post. Thank you for responding with substance rather than the emotional drivel provided by that puppet guy. I've got mad respect for that 2004 Auburn team. I felt USC had the x-factor that year with Bush; didn't think they were going to lose to anyone. But it's a shame we didn't get to see that game.

The 04 USC team returned most of their team and lost to Texas
The 05 Trojans were better than the 04 Trojans
Same thing with Texas

Best team I have ever seen was 2008 Boise St.
The way they took it to teams like Idaho St, New Mexico St, and Idaho all in the same season!! ARE YOU SERIOUS? Fricking Gauntlet!!!
They would have hook and ladder/statue of liberty the NCAA to it's knees
