UVA has lacrosse

Lubbock is heaven compared to places like Plainview, Hereford or Childress.

I have family who spent Friday nights in Amarillo throwing nickels at hookers on the Blvd to end up at Whataburger looking for a fight. This to them was living the life

People in the South Plains have a chip on their shoulder compared to the rest of Texas. People in West Texas, outside of a lot in Midland a few in Odessa Lubbock and Amarillo, had to work for everything they had by working the land and this is on the otherside of the dry line or being a roughneck in the oilfields

Anyway this chip plus the West Texas love for football makes for the best day out the year when a big school plays in Lubbock
I still cannot forget 2009 and Crabtree
Or even 2003 with Wes Welker

Well my Dad was born and raised in the Panhandle
and played ball at Tech for 2 years in the early 80's

Tech was the only school who recruited him and most of the players in the Panhandle.

For this I always have respect for Tech who gave a kid who started at White Deer HS and ended up at Pampa in Zach Thomas a chance.

The students who usually want to party end up at SWT
I am sure there is some but the making of pornos has never been a big UT activity

If I have or have not does not matter

This center is bringing UT and Stanford closer together
Academically UT is getting in bed with PAC 12 schools

Have you ever been in the Microelectronics research center at UT

Why the sudden interest in me
