Your list started out so strong.

Pryor and Murphy definitely deserve a mention for the top 5. All time, I'd found it out with Bill Hicks, Robert Schimel, and Dave Chapelle. Though, it's hard to not include George Carlin.

Out of currently touring comics, in no order, my favorites would be Patton Oswalt, Doug Stanhope, Kyle Kinane, Bill Burr. There's done other great ones. But those are the best I can think of right now.

just watched Michael Che's Netflix special, it was pretty damn funny. I don't think he's great on SNL, but he gets an A in standup.

1) Eddie Murphey in Delirious
2) Eddie Murphey in Raw
3) Dave Chapelle

OT, but I'm pumped. Adam Sandler, Rob Schneider, David Spade, and Nick Swardson are playing in Dallas tomorrow night and we're going for date night. Haven't been to a "big" comedy show in years and looking forward to it.

ETA: Eddie Murphy Raw is the funniest stand up I have ever seen.

Chris Rock is fricking hilarious too.
