Nobody is talking about the magnificent goal line stand.

We haven't seen such an outstanding defensive performance by a single individual since Barry Krauss in the 79 Sugar Bowl.
Ole Miss hammered towards the goal line over and over, but the replay official stood firm and refused to budge.

What an effort. Way to go, replay guy. You are now a part of Alabama lore.

I'm going to have to watch the second half again. I got way too drunk and don't remember most of it.

During that whole sequence, the refs ruled Ole Miss scored twice when they didn't...then ruled Ole Miss didn't score when it looked like they did. Replay couldn't overturn that one due to a pile of bodies, but the refs effectively went 0 for 3 on the field.

I think this would make a great Budweiser commercial.

Mr. Alabama replay official...

...whether you are on the field, in the booth or back in the war room at the SEC offices located in Brimingham, you are always on your toes. You figure out a way to keep it close when the team has a breakdown. Mr. Alabama replay official!

Even though the replay officials got it right each time (including the next possession where Bama was given a TD then overruled), the delay between each play took away from the excitement and flow of the game

Punt return TD should've never happened, but it was a great game for sure.

Seemed like the reviewed 4 times in a span of 5 or 6 plays. God it felt like that whole goal line/Alabama TD sequence took 45 minutes.

The 81 goal line stand against penn state was the best. Six, 6 plays inside the one. Had a penalty in there that put state at the half yard line as well but that was the most amazing goal line stand ever. And penn state had curt Warner toting it. Not an easy task.

I laugh at all these soft spread teams who line up in the shotgun when they need inches to covert or score. Sack up and play real man football.

I was driving at the time and listening to the Bama radio broadcast via TuneIn, and even Eli Gold was asking aloud why the heck Ole Miss was in the shotgun when the ball was virtually on top of the goal line.

Lot of REC in the line judge right there ... Had he called it 6 , like it was, there wouldnt have been enough evidence to overturn... He made Birmingham proud for sure.

Literally nobody. The block in the back Gary thought he saw (but for some reason never showed us again) was a complete whiff of a block that wouldn't have been a block in the back anyway, even if real contact had been made.
