In all honesty, if Gus isn't blind or incompetent....he'd start John Franklin III. KJ was averaging damn near 9 ypc whenever he was in. Once they key in on KJ he will explode. Nick and Cam were erratic with their passing early on as well. Only gets better with game action.
JF3. Trust me.

From what I have read JF3 only knows how to do what he was doing last night. And only just.

What else does he need to do if you're getting 10-15 yards a play?

Glory bump. Only because this is really what Gus wants to run. Should have started from the jump

yeah when he comes in unexpectedly in the 3rd quarter. He can't pass

Did you watch the game? Those plays worked ~4 times on A&M's backups before they realized what we were doing and stopped it almost immediately.

Big difference from playing late in a game that is already decided and playing at the start.

What game were you watching? All 3 runs stopped for 0 yards or less was done by a TAMU starter. One of those plays (failed 4th down) was Chandler Cox completely missing his block
Auburn ran the ball 14 times when JF3 was in the game
Carries By Yards
<0 Yards - 2
0-2 Yards - 2
2-4 Yards- 3
5-9 Yards- 3
10+ Yards- 5

At least a reasonable argument

For what it's worth I am with you. We don't have a line so run baby run. And when they feel they can, throw in Woody to get experience, do it, Frick the snowboarder.

I'm with you on that.

Nahh dude doesn't even know what down it is.

I dont know if you can blame him. After watching that pitiful offense all night he gets 5 minutes to win the game and runs for his life. He should know what down it is but it was his first significant action all year. Nothing else works let's let him start and see what we get. Couldn't be much worse imo.

I agree. I don't dislike Sean White, but Gus can't adapt to him. Play Franklin for the rest of the season or throw Woody out there.

Against a defense defending the home run.

If this is the only offense Gus can orchestrate then some is better than none. Maybe they key in hard enough for him to burn them with a pass. He has the arm strength but he is pretty sloppy so look for 40% completions. And no one is allowed to bitch when he gets that ball slapped out of his hand while palming it like a layup.
Whatever happens, I want Gus to say this will not work and I need a DT no matter what, then burn Woody's redshirt and get him moving. We have a full game after LSU to play him and see if he has learned it. Bring in a QB coach to just work with him and JF3 and live or die by it. We can beat LSU with a little luck, then Gus can be a hero again and we can stop talking about firing him.

We were on their 10 yard line. Everyone knows what's coming when he comes in and we never go 3 & out. NEVER.
It's ABUNDANTLY clear that Sean White is not the answer. He has moments but it doesn't last. He's not quick, not big, not gonna survive behind that line. At least JF3 can escape and extend plays

I tend to agree. Throw Franklin out there and just let him go. It's obvious Gus is to inept to build an offense around the strengths of SW. Plus it doesn't help that our o-line is playing pretty bad. What I find funny is Gus's offense is based on deception and no one is deceived by it anymore. He is just to set in his way's to change shite.
