Is Ole Miss LSU's top rival?

I grew up a Tennessee fan and didn't really pay much attention to the west and their rivals but apparently this is LSU's biggest rival. Records over the last 8 years are even. But also seeing a lot of "old piss" references so I know they are angry and feel they are superior. LSU fans, is Ole Miss your biggest rival?

They do rush the field when they beat us.

Yeah they are. I know on this board it's fun to troll and downplay rivalries, but I'm actually happy Ole Miss is better - the games were very dull for a long time and now they're exciting.

Not even close. Everyone knows LSU's primary rival is a balanced checkbook.

LSU doesn't have a rival.
Alabama is the biggest football game of the year followed by A&M and Ole Miss, IMO. Florida, Auburn and Arkansas are close behind.
ETA: My definition of rivals are two schools that both view the other as the most important game to win in all sports.

As an LSU fan that graduated from Ole Miss, I can say with 1000000000000000% certainty that Ole Miss hates LSU way more than LSU hates Ole Miss.
Don't get me wrong, LSU fans do not like Ole Miss and understand the historical context of the rivalry, but LSU fans direct their hatred to Alabama and I even think Texas A&M is surpassing Ole Miss.
Ole Miss fans fricking hate LSU. For example, it is a regular occurrence at random, benign Ole Miss sporting events, say Ole Miss basketball vs. UTEP in the December, for fans to yell "GO TO HELL LSU!!!" during the national anthem.
It happened ALLLL the time while I was there from 2006-2011.

Simply put, no.

Ole Miss is their historical rival. They had a pretty strong rivalry in the 50's and 60's. Their fans right now probably have a lot more hate for Alabama. Its a big game, but they are not our rival. #rivalryrejected. TAMU rivalry has really been picking up and i see this being a big game for them for years to come as the TAMU program grows and L5U continues t'decline.

I believe Ole Sis's top rival to be the NCAA
LSU's top rival is reality
LSU's top rival is reality

I think as long as Saban is at Bama, Bama is their top rival. This bullshite about one rival hating the other more being an indicator of a rivalry is garbage though. If it were, my opening statement would not be true. The Saban butt hurt outweighs the grandparents traditional rival.

I assume if A&M ever surpasses Ole Miss/MSU/Arkansas level, they'll be LSU's primary rival

Maybe not to the younger group of fans but if you ask majority of the older fans they will answer OM.

Short answer is no.
Long answer is hell no but I'll explain it.
LSU's biggest and most natural rival left the SEC when Tulane jumped ship. Since then they've just sort of been there.
Do they have rivalries with schools like Ole Miss, Bama, Arkansas and A&M? Sure. But none of them is a top rival year in and year out. It changes each season based on who LSU would like to wallop the most.
Ole Miss will always have Miss. State as their top rival. Bama and Auburn, or, Bama and Tennessee. Georgia's big rivalry, while they have some great secondary ones, is G. Tech. It will probably be at least another generation or two before A&M and Arkansas don't regard that school in Austin as their top rival.
LSU is sort of left out of all that at the moment. Tulane has fallen off the map and that cost them the big rivalry game. They seem to be doing pretty well without one though.

Their top rival is the game they made towels for and carried their coach off the field.
