Everyone else is doing it so why not...

vs South Alabama
vs South Carolina
at LSU
at UMass (wtf)
vs Auburn
at BYU
at Kentucky
vs Samford
vs A&M
at Alabama
vs Arkansas
at Ole Miss

Being optimistic, I'm gonna say 7-5. With a brand new QB being broke in with a mediocre at best offensive line, things could get bad. Mullen has proven he can win with inferior talent, so we will see if the trend can continue. The schedule is admittedly pitiful, though

Have it at 6-3 without the toss ups. The 3 toss ups are all at MSU. I am going to say 7-5 or 8-4.

7-5

Wins over USA, UMASS, BYU, UK, Samford, Arky... and 1 other (likely either SCe or AU)

How does one get to play South Carolina and Kentucky as your cross-divisional opponents? Is there an easier cross-divisional schedule anywhere?

They get UK & USC from the east? Even still I think 7 wins is the ceiling. 5 or 6 wins is more likely.

6-6 Although I think they may end up beating one of Ole Miss, A&M or Auburn. So maybe 7-5

7-5 isn't really a bad record considering the circumstances at Mississippi State. I'm a little skeptical of them because they don't have a running back. State had a great offense last season because of Prescott. He won games with completely average guys around him (except Ross and Wilson).

If they want to really surprise people, they need a running game badly. Especially since they're breaking in a new QB. I just don't see it this year, though. I think that they can just win the expected games and maybe steal a win versus A&M.

7-5. Kentucky, BYU, Auburn, and Ole Miss could flip. OOC is WEAK.
