Ole miss - makers mark. Good to mix with in a cup and can color coordinate the bottle with the tailgate. About as fitting as you could get.
The quintessential Ole Miss fan. He picks a mid-level bourbon to try to look classy, then talks about mixing it (WTF) and how it color coordinates.
I like some of you rebbears, but you bring douchiness to an entirely new level. Go ahead and enjoy your Makers and orange soda while showing off your Bose stereo. Bottoms up.

Anyone putting coke into Maker's should be banned from purchasing it.
i didnt realize makers mark was drank so frequently on the rocks. I prefer makers with a splash of coke to take out some of the bite. my go to on the rocks is Basil Hayden, Glinfiddich, and The MacCallan

My LSU grad girlfriend bought it. She has for every NC game.
Tell her to stop blowing $200+ on blended scotch and get a real single malt.

Game day is either Beam and coke or ginger, or Makers straight. Wife got me a bottle of Woodford Double Oaked as a gift... That was some good stuff.
To those saying you cant handle whiskey straight, its an acquired taste... suck it up. Underestimated my 18 month olds reach a few weeks ago... While i was flipping the steaks, she got my glass of makers on the rocks. Turned around in time to see her swallow a man sized slug of it, shake her head, and try for another.

Negative ghost rider it is neither it appears, it was produced in the dead center county, Offaly of Ireland until 1950. then was produced in Cork, same as Jameson. Now they have a new additional distillery back in Offaly.

Elijah Craig has been my go to Bourbon for a while now. Best bang for your buck.

Arkansas fans:
Elmer T. Lee and keep your damn ice in the freezer. We drink it like it was created. Neat.
A review:
In my opinion, Elmer T. Lee is one of the best single barrels on the market. Elmer T. Lee (ETL) is no frills, no fancy marketing, it wasn’t aged on the ocean, and there are dozens of other bottles higher on the shelf. You won’t find ETL on a GQ top ten list, but you will find it open in the cabinets of diehard bourbon enthusiasts everywhere. To me, it is the best Buffalo Trace has to offer.
Boxers would describe ETL as an elite “pound for pound” boxer. ETL can beat bourbons $20, $50 more expensive, and it never disappoints in its own category. ETL hits all points of the bourbon trifecta. It has the spice, the sweet and the smooth, all wrapped in to one boring, frumpy little bottle with a picture of another old guy that could probably beat me up. Elmer has true bona fides in the bourbon community, no doubt about it, but we all should acknowledge Elmer Lee for his service to our country as a veteran of WWII. This man is a true American hero.

People in South Louisiana love them some Crown Royal. I'll vouch for the Bud Light/Crown combo for LSU.

Only Ole Miss students would spend 80 something bucks on a handle of Bourbon only to pour it into coke and fanta orange because they don't actually like the taste of the alcohol. Just buy some Evan Williams ya douche.

Among females it's no question, Burnett's Vodka is Queen. Smirnoff is a close second. Among guys it's hard to say Crown Royal, Jack Daniels, and Miller Lite are probably the most popular.
I personally prefer to have Shiner Bock and Johnnie Walker(Red) on game days.

I am with you on that, I do enjoy a good singe malt scotch. But this blue label thing has become somewhat of a tradition/luck/superstition since the first one in 09. I hope to enjoy several more each engraved with the NC year on it.
