Apparently it just premiered at one of the big film festivals (Toronto or Venice) and people were raving about it.

Looks good. I love cooking cabbage. It’s cheap as hell and tasty. I usually sautee it with some vinegar and soy sauce. A New York Times food writer had a great recipe- oil a roasting pan, put a layer of thickly sliced cabbage on top, season it, then put a chicken on top of the cabbage. When you roast the chicken, the cabbage gets caramelized and it soaks up all of that chicken fat.

Back in the day, Deadspin would run some brutal NFL fight videos. The best was when the Rams played their first game back in LA. It was preseason, so every scumbag could afford tickets

Gundy's done too much at Okie Light for them to can him in the middle of the season. They'll let him announce he's stepping down and he'll ride off in the sunset.

When there was that quick flash of a family photo with a middle aged redheaded lady, I assumed the brother and the younger sister were foster kids they adopted. That's the kind of thing you would figure an ex-priest would do.

It's extremely sharp and self sharpening. Makes peeling a breeze.
LSU dodged a huge bullet when Herman played games with us. He would have been an awful cultural fit.

I wonder if he’s still getting NFL checks in 2027. Wasn’t there a story where he wasn’t even running Cleveland’s scout team?

Shiiiiit, he’s gunning for Sun Belt Billy’s job.

I think UCLA could be a decent job with the right coach. There’s a lot of talent in Southern California. UCLA was just screwed because the job became open so late in the cycle. They ought to call up D'Anton Lynn

Auburn had two guys play in my lifetime that you can argue were among the best college football players of all time.

Stacked cast.
The guy who made this did Narc, a movie that came out about 20 years ago, with Jason Patric and Ray Liotta as crooked Detroit cops.

Looks like James Gunn’s ‘Man of Tomorrow’ is set to begin filming in the spring. Gunn tells The Howard Stern Show that the film “starts shooting in April 2026.”
Gunn adds that ‘Man Of Tomorrow’ is a Lex Luthor and Superman movie: “It's a story about Lex Luthor and Superman having to work together to a certain degree against a much, much bigger threat.”
---
So I'm guessing Brainiac

I kinda give them some leeway with Tootles' death because he was a dumb kid, of course he would do something stupid. It was set up by Kirsh explaining stuff to him like he was an 8-year-old.
The stuff with Nibs and Wendy - yeah, that was an example of why the haters complain about people doing dumb shite in this show. I feel like it ain't Alien if people unless people are doing really dumb shite.
I'm still enjoying the series. I think it's pretty effective and tense, the acting is good and it looks like it cost a fortune to make.

I would love to know Bryan Fuller's deal. He's done a lot of cool things and he's been involved with a lot of cool things that he bounced from quickly (Heroes, American Gods, Vampire Chronicles, a Friday the 13th prequel)

No. It flopped at the box office. I thought it was great and don't remember anyone not liking it but it failed to make money.
Wow. I just looked it up - you were right. I guess I thought it was a decent sized hit because I saw lot of people say positive things about it.

Didn't they announce they were making a sequel? I thought it was a pretty decent sized hit.
I can't remember the last network show I watched. - maybe The Good Place? Those ads for network shows that they show during football games - all that shite looks cheesy and awful. Lame procedurals, reality shows for idiots. There's a lot of garbage on streaming - but there's at least some prestige stuff with real actors and writers, and high production values. (Look at Alien: Earth, Task, that FX show with Ethan Hawke set in Oklahoma).
