ROFL @ Lsuchs and MetryTiger in this thread.
The Bible has a good phrase to describe what they are going through these days.
The "gall of bitterness" is upon them.

2001 SEC Championship Game was a far better game than the turnover-prone mess that was the 1997 SEC Championship Game.

2012 and 1992 were the two best. Beyond that I think it's hard to seperate them. A lot of great ones.
97, 98, 06, 07, 08, 13 just off the top of my head.

MetryTiger might be the dumbest person on this entire forum (Saying a lot, I know).
He calls Bama "Ala-Shame-Ah" like he thinks you pronounce it Bame-Ah.

The same Illinois team that was crushed by Michigan who was in turn lost to UT by 28 pts in the Citrus Bowl?
I think that it was a hyped up game because Illinois had 2 1st round rated DBs, and media was saying they were going to shut down Josh Reed. Good ole Josh cost those DBs millions in draft positions after he was done with them =)

Now that I think about it, I'd put this above the '97 SEC title game. Bench McElroy is actually right, that '97 game was a turnover fest of epic proportions.

How can you argue against the '92, '94, '08, and '12 games? Bottom line...you can't.

92, 93 and 12 are no doubters. I don't know why or how anyone would argue otherwise.
2008 was a pretty great game too, but it ended a 2-score game so maybe that is why people are leaving it off.

The 94 game was the most painful loss I've seen up until Kick 6 (maybe even moreso since I was there).
What about Saban processing UT with a backup QB in 01?

93 wasn't a good game after the first half. We were only there because Auburn was banned from postseason play.

remember that game.
Tennessee won in September of that year, and in the SECCG rematch, LSU came to life.
Wrong...your memory isnt clear...UT didnt win in Sept...the game with UF was postponed til the end of the season and UT beat us in a very tight game....but we couldnt run the ball and Rex Grossman was his usual selfish playmaker and Spurrier let him keep throwing and it cost us along with the fact UT had a great run game.
9-11 caused the postponement and we would have won in Sept...but UT regrouped and had a better team in early Dec or late November....and we piled up injuries.
UT was the favorite in the SECCG.
