the last 3 times Alabama won the title Auburn either played for the title the next season or went undefeated.
bama won in 92 - Auburn goes 11-0 in 93 (probation)
bama won in 2009 - Auburn goes 14-0 with national title in 2010
bama won in 2011 and 2012 - Auburn goes 13-1 plays in the title game in 2013
bama wins in 2015 - Auburn goes ???? in 2016
This is not a bama bash status but its crazy how we both bring the best out of each other in the state. Auburn typically wins big in seasons where they aren't ranked in the top 10 or when they are slept on. I am by no means saying that Auburn will win the title in 2016 but I wouldn't count them totally out of it.
Another crazy stat is Auburn is the only team in the country in the last 26 years to go undefeated 3 times and not even bama can say that.
auburn- 93,2004,2010
bama- 92, 2009
love em or hate em Auburn is a better team than you think historically and with that said

We won one and then y'all won one. We win two and then y'all blow one. We go three in a row this time and Gus gets fired this year. I see the pattern you are talking about. We win a NC in 2009 and continue to get better, Auburn wins in 2010 and the decline starts. Can't close the deal with FSU and we repeat.
Who will coach Auburn in 2017?

well technically 2011 wasn't a title...lol bama got gifted a title appearance and LSU shouldn't have had to play bama twice in one season. nothing was national about the 2011 title...ok st should have played bama but thats just water under the grass

it actually interesting tho...I mean for the most part every time bama wins auburn wins big the next year too...are there any other rivals that can say this?

Alabama lost at home by missing 5 field goals and didn't win the sec that year...doesn't sound like a title team to me...maybe the bcs computer were the dumb ones not me
