Auburn is probably the only power 5 team that could pull off three undefeated seasons and only have one title to show for it. I assure you Bama couldn't do that.
Now that is a crazy stat.
Nebraska went undefeated in those 3 years, but won 3 NC.
Bama went undefeated in those 2 years, but won 2 NC.
Auburn went undefeated in those 3 years, but won only 1 NC. (Probably only school to have 2 undefeated seasons with no NC to show for it.)

Look, man, I'm not saying that every bit of his post is consistent.
I really don't see how you don't interpret 3 in a row as anything other than IB wins. It's not as if Scoop thinks we won a title in 2014 (though I just realized that SEC titles could also go along with 3 in a row).

If you answer that yes.....
Would you say Alabama, by virtue of their blowout win over LSU was the best team in the country in 2011? (The score does not necessarily qualify as a blowout, but the stats seem to. Especially since LSU did not cross the 50 yard line)
This was not a slam at LSU. You had a great team. Unfortunate that you had that team the same year Alabama had the team they had in 2011. Two great teams.

bama shouldn't have been given a chance to even play for the title especially since they didn't win nor play for their conference title...ok st lost on the road in 3OT to a pesky iowa state team and was ranked #2 in the bcs going into championship week. so how does Alabama gain computer points when they didn't even have a game on championship week????

yes bama won the football game and looked awesome doing it but they had 40 days to prepare for said LSU game and if you give saban 40+ days to prepare he is unstoppable...

OK State was not ranked #2 going into Championship weekend. Bama was. And you keep getting confused about the computers. Bama won the humans and OK State won the computers.
