We know. My daughters are in 1st and 3rd grade and continue to go through at least 4 code red drills a year. They’re planning ahead for someone to buy a gun and bring it to their school and start shooting.

Yep. Too bad Obama and Congress weren’t able to get something done after Sandy Hook. Assault rifle ban back in 2012 might have saved lives this weekend. El Paso shooter had free reign with no LE within minutes. Imagine if Dayton shooter only had 10 round clip since the police acted so swiftly.

I know. McCain lost 2008 for several reasons but for one he called out a supporters comments about Obama being a Muslim. McCain called out a liar and lost support from far right. Trump embraced that lie and understood 25-30% of Americans are racist. Throw in another 20-25% who vote R’s no matter and bam. That’s where we are at in this country.

My opinion is, based on reading the manifesto, that the El Paso shooter committed this act because he wanted to kill Mexicans. I also believe, also based on reading his manifesto, that said shooter is a racist.

It may have changed but it’s pretty clear from shooters manifesto that he didn’t support liberals. Here are a couple of comments from the shooters manifesto:
“So the Democrats are nearly unanimous with their support of immigration while the Republicans are divided over it. At least
with Republicans, the process of mass immigration and citizenship can be greatly reduced.”
“I am against race mixing because it destroys genetic diversity and creates identity problems. Also because it’s completely unnecessary and selfish. 2nd and 3rd
generation Hispanics form interracial unions
at much higher rates than average. Yet another reason to send them back.“
