I'm not necessarily saying this is wrong, but it's a bit hard to believe that the AVERAGE price of any cfb ticket was $5,100.

Those numbers look super inflated. For LSU/Bama in NOLA in 2011, there were tons of tix for $700-$1000 per seat.

All the OSU people are saying ticket prices would have been much more if they were in it. They are also under the assumption that they had the highest ever becuase they travel the best

Part of playing for the NC in the middle of January, a week and a half after the end of the holidays.

Stadium capacity should be included with the price.

As as stated, fatigue, plus playing in two bowls, plus the SECCG, and this game with two teams from Southeast playing in Glendale, AZ.

If the finals were in Dallas or NOLA, I suspect the prices to be much higher.

Good. No one should spend that kind of money for a game.

I don't believe any of these numbers. They all look way higher than reality.

I do remember the AU vs Oregon prices were so high I said frick it. I was at AU & my parents were going to pay my entire way. No way was I going to drop that kind of money on 1 football game.

Avg price is not a good measuring stick. A few tickets prices ridiculously high can run up the average. Give me the median price. The lowest price is also a great indicator of ticket demand.
