Pittman was trying to sneak out of town without saying a word to the boys that had been busting their butts for him for the last three yrs. Chicken shite move and CBB made Pittman his bitch right there.

This has already been proven false but Bert being Bert is making shite up to save face and paint Pitt in a bad light. Just another bitch move by Bert
Arky fans sure are acting high and mighty... Did Petrino address his players before hopping on a plane in ATL and flying up there to the Ozarks to call the Hogs in the middle of the night ? How many tears did you shed for the Falcons' players ?

Some people love Fayetteville.
Just had a family friend kids sign his letter of intent to play baseball at Arkansas next season. I know it isn't a shithole and it's a great place to live. Athens is also a great place to live so I'm not sure why it's a pissing contest. Pretty sure Pittman left to be with Chaney.

The only good thing about Arkansas is flooded timber.

UGA fans should have fun with Arky's obsession over former coaches now.

I'll give a nod for a decent try at trolling but Fayetteville is routinely ranked as being one of the nicest places to live in the country. I'm not saying Athens is a shitehole but if there is one way you will fail to troll Arkansas fans its trying to knock NW Arkansas.
Not really trolling, just thought it was funny he tried to link 1980 to saying which town was better when it had nothing to do with the comment that was made.
I've actually lived in both Arkansas and Georgia. I would choose Georgia all day every day and twice on Sunday. Not knocking Fayetteville. Just a preference I guess.

I went to a conference earlier this year in Atlanta.
You could not pay me enough money to live anywhere near that dumpster fire.

If Pittman wasn't gonna tell his guys, he's a bitch. Like Chavis. But Bert bringing players to him was an even bigger bitch move. What an unprofessional POS.

Fayetteville is a cool town, NWA a cool area.
But it's a total cult as well and pretty separated from the rest of the world. I can't really see people itching to get out of NWA because it's shitty, but I can see them itching to get out because Arky fans and residents of NWA generally are...fricking insane?

Atlanta isn't bad at all and Athens is 45 minutes away.

We will enjoy laughing at them over Chaney just like with y'all and Gus the offensive genius.

No and 90% of Hog fans agree he is a piece of shite.
A great coaching piece of shite but a piece of shite never the less.
Thanks for making the point about Pittman. I hadn't looked at it that way.

Of course it's a preference which is why these conversations are pointless. It shouldn't be shocking that people tend to think the place they live is superior.

Yea, I don't remember any Arkansas fans missing Chaney's play calling, ever.

Yup, Pittman is full of shite. You don't get from XNA to SLC in a couple hours and use the time zone to make up time.
No direct flights to SLC, he'd have to connect and have a layover. No way he'd make a 10:30 meeting, collect his shite, drive to XNA from campus, to make a noon flight.
The earliest he could have gotten on a plane, would've been about 1-1:30pm. XNA is not a busy airport, there's not many flights departing here on a Saturday afternoon.
He'd have had to connect in DFW, Denver or MPLS. That's an hour to 1.5 hours for flight, then another hour for layover if lucky on a Sat. Then another hour from Denver, or 2 from Dallas and 2.5 from MPLS.
You get an hour back coming from DFW or MPLS, still no chance to get to a wedding in Utah on time if he'd planned to speak to the team at the 10:30 meeting. A proper goodbye to a group of 100+ would take 30-45 minutes at least. Was the wife gonna be waiting in the car w/ their shite packed and ready to hightail it to the airport?

Everyone loves Athens. Some people love Fayetteville. Go back to talking about how terrible Chaney is - you have a better chance of winning that argument.
You are looking like a complete dumb shite here. We are routinely listed in the top ten places to live in America. I get that you love Athens and that is wonderful, but trying to knock NW Arkansas is like throwing a temper tantrum. Its sort of silly at your age and shows that you don't know the area that well.
Also I'm not from NW Arkansas. I've lived all over the US. Midwest, East Coast, South, and even some time out on the West Coast. Including, I might add, some time living in Georgia. Fayetteville and the rest of the Ozarkopolis is a really nice place to live. Sorry dude, but you are talking out of your butt here.

This was my experience as well. My wife and I had a hard time out there. Very cliquish culture. We were basically outsiders and nothing would ever change that.
