Funny thing is that Bert went through all of this and then when Pittman left anyway Bert was quoted as basically saying he taught the man most everything he knew. Bert is a fat POS who can't win SEC games with any sort of consistency and runs his mouth all over the country just to get embarrassed and called out on ESPN by Texas Tech.

Sucks but lets be real, I'm sure he waS ecstatic to get out of that shite hole and be in athens. Natural selection.

And here's the typical Jawja fan....living off 1980. Like the 50+ guy who was a star QB in high school and still shows his yearbook to everyone.

the more i think about it, i guess we could excuse pittman on that because i'm sure he was as shocked as anyone that a head coach was dumb enough to hire chaney as their oc again in the sec.

Pittman won't be enough to overcome Chaney's shitty play calling. Methinks Kirby ain't all that smart.

Here's the thing though. In the next few years we will likely field a better defense than what jc had at arkansas. We will have a more talented QB than he had at arkansas. We currently do not have nearly the same OL, but obviously that's why we got pittman. I'm never worried about our RBs or TEs.

We're 9 months out from the season and I'm already pissed about our playcalling, but my hope is that we are so good everywhere else that it won't matter as much.

I hope.

If he was so bad why did the new guy have such pitiful offensive performances against Toledo and Texas Tech when a year ago y'all blew the doors off both Tech and MAC champ Northern Illinois?

No one is denying that but calling Fayetteville a "shithole" is just lame.

It's right behind Athens and Nashville as the best town in the SEC. Especially if you're a rich arse coach raising a family.

1980 has nothing to do with Athens being a far superior town, not to mention the far superior talent that he'll be coaching.

umm, probably because he was brand new and half our offensive players got injured at the beginning of the season. go out there and compares stats and stuff of our offense from this season to last and then get back with me.

As I've said before. Chaney will be gone in 2 seasons. He sucks.
He will be used as a scapegoat if the offense doesn't work out.
Pittman will not follow to a shitty job like Pitt because of the money.

Smart move IMO.

We'll see what Chaney can do with a ton of talent. Sometimes the talent can hide inefficiencies in coaching.

Tennessee had a shitload of offensive talent while he was there.
