Apparently there is quite a bit of angst within a portion of your fan base about CKS's staffing decisions

ITT Arky fans should feel free to express their frustrations and feelings without fear of condemnation or retribution

If you just need a hug or a simple word of encouragement, I am here for you

Meh. Just a little ticked at Pittman for his lack of integrity and character.

Other than that, we good.

So how does deciding to take another job that is actually probably a slight upgrade a negative slight on his integrity and character?

I've lived amongst Hog fans so I know the blind everybody's against us mentality but integrity and character?

The thing that bothers me is that it just doesn't add up. You've just spent 3 years recruiting and building your offensive line, and have gotten a lot of talent to form a strong foundation. Your head coach puts great emphasis and exposure on the offensive line. Money is not an issue, you are and will be paid top dollar. Your new OC is killing it which will bring even more exposure and success to your offensive line. So you leave all of that behind to go work under a guy with no head coach experience and a guy who's a proven dud of an OC?

It's been said before that Pittman and Chaney were a "package deal," and people worried we would lose Pittman after we told Chaney to take his next opportunity out the door, but can two grown men feel that fondly of each other that one will go against all logic to follow the other? It's crazy.

I understand considering Razorback feelings but lets not kid ourselves with the "probably" and "slightly better".

These fans are grown ups, they know their place and plot in life.

And Bret has had good OL's everywhere he has been

You can step off the ledge, Pig linemen will be able to block in 2016

Like I said, no condemnation from me ITT

I think some of it comes from the fact that he's a great recruiter and strongly bonds with the guys he recruits and coaches. So to those guys Pittman sells the idea that he is all about them, that he loves the school, and that they should put their trust in him and join him at his school. So after following Pittman to Arkansas, and playing for him under this belief, for him to just decide to leave out of nowhere for what seems like no good reason just seems like the rug gets pulled. Of course, this happens every time a coach decides to go somewhere else, but I think there's more of a "sting" with Pittman because he sells himself so well to his players/recruits and bonds with them so well.

Hated to see Pittman leave, but lets not forget CBB always had really good O-line play and development before Pittman and he will after Pittman. But good hire for ya'll.

On ya'll hiring Chaney.........

CKS herp derp.

Remember when Chaney was too fat to walk down the stairs from the press box to join the team at halftime of the Auburn game.

Ask me how I feel next year. Too soon to tell. We'll find out if we'll miss him or not.

Secret lovers.

ETA: just to be clear, I'm saying Pittman and Chaney have sex with each other in the mouth and butt.

The two things involving integrity and character:

1. Telling CBB that he 'didn't need a non-compete clause in his contract because he wasn't going anywhere.' That turned out to be a flat out lie. That equates to a lack of integrity to me.

2. Declining to talk to his players after making the decision to leave. He owes them that much at least.
That constitutes a lack of character to me.

I think it is a great thing that we have coaches like Saban and Smart coming after our assistants. Obviously it is a compliment to Bielema and the coaches he chooses to surround himself with. He will continue to put the best in the business around him, and they will continue to be poached by those who aren't as adept at identifying talent. Some will have more character than others, and will actually keep their word.

Good luck to Smart, Chaney, and Pittman, and good luck to Georgia in trying to keep Pittman once you rid yourselves of Chaney. Since we don't play for a couple of years unless we meet in the SECCG, I doubt we ever have to face a Pittman O line at Georgia, so no biggie.
