I'm not about to hold my breathe but it sure feels nice to get that kind of attention from an out of state defensive guy that we normally wouldnt have a chance in hell with

There's at least a puncher's chance. Recruiting is all about relationships and he and Kirby have a long relationship. Legacy means nothing more than having a childhood rooted in that school. Plenty of guys have spurned the legacy tag before

It's the 'hastag blessed' that makes it official.

If it said #Damned we'd know he's going to Auburn

I can't believe a five star player is coming from Gordo. I thought that town only functioned as a speed trap.

I sincerely hope this is something we hear more from opposing teams fans than our own.

Ben Davis is still likely to come to Alabama, especially with Pruitt (his main recruiter at UGA) coming to Bama, and his last official visit being scheduled for Alabama.

Not just a legacy. His father is Alabama's all time leading tackler and openly says he wants his son at Bama.

I like our chances to pull it out.

Just because his dad went to Bama, does not mean his sin has to. He will be good rather is picks UGA or Bama.

I'm not sure whether or not Ben Davis will end up at Alabama, but most big name kids from here like to add drama to their recruitment. Julio to OU. Yeldon to AU. Reuben to everywhere. Humphrey to FSU. Evans to AU. It's par for the course with big-name recruits from Alabama.

I'm about 70% confident that Davis will sign with Alabama when all is said and done.

I'm about 0% confident UGA will sign him.
