With the exception of his one 18 yard run, there was a wall in front of him everytime he was handed the ball. Cam Cameron should have drawn plays that gave Fournette the ball to the outside or via a screen pass, but he didnt.

With as good as bama's D-line was playing and as bad as LSU's O-line was playing, not Bo Jackson, Herschel Walker, Billy Cannon, Kevin Faulk, Darren McFadden or especially Derrick Henry would have been able to get more than 2-3 yards max per inside hand-off if they were in Fournette's shoes with LSU's god awful offensive gameplan.

That was one of the worst coached games I have ever witnessed. Almost as bad as 21-0.

they were able to shut him down, because your qb is garbage and isn't a threat to pass

You do know bama has played other teams this year, right? Middle Tennessee St looked better on O than LSU did.

Pretty sure we've covered this a lot. No one is doubting Fournette's abilities.

That's not true, at all. Fournette looked intimidated for the first time this season and you can't say every back would have played scared like he seemed to.

You just can't fathom the thought of taking LF7s penis out of your mouth, can you?

I don't understand why people are downvoting you and arguing. Maybe they're missing your point?

LF did all that he could considering that Alabama was selling out against the run, and Cameron called a run play up the middle almost the entire game. Alabama has NFL players in their front seven. NFL players don't get out-muscled or out-athlete'd by anyone ESPECIALLY if the play calls are predictable.

If we are talking last night with the exact same game plan LSU used? Then no, I doubt anyone would have done better. When you have to dodge two or three guys a couple of yards behind the line of scrimmage every time you run the ball its hard to look good.

Bama loaded up the box and LSU did not have the passing firepower to make them back off.

I feel for LSU fans. Their team just lost a potential NC, and a Heisman Trophy in 4 quarters. Orchestrated by nick saban and delivered by a nasty defense.

Several knowledgeable people including myself knew that Derrick Henry would out rush LF in this game. Henry should move to the forefront of the Heisman conversation after that extraordinary performance in prime time last night. When he dominates State and Auburn and LF fades down the stretch, it will seal the deal and Bama will have it's second Heisman in 7 years. What a dominant performance by Henry and Alabama last night. Easily the best team in the country to handle that great LSU team like that .

Fournette didn't even average 2 per carry...soooo, your statement is wrong
