We eat livers and gizzards,but not the hearts. The hearts are much more delicious than either one.
Kentucky Fried Chicken Hearts would probably be fantastic.

I had turkey heart chili once in Ohio. At least, that's what the menu said it was.

When I was a kid,in the 60's,when my Mother would fry a whole chicken,there would be a heart,a gizzard,and livers included with the chicken.
She would fry them also.
The heart was good.Tender.Like butter.
It was very small compared to the liver and gizzard.

Buy a pack of gizzards at the grocery and it will have several hearts in it. Fried hearts and gizzards are good IMO.

I eat hearts.
If I'm feeling froggy, I'll eat the heart as soon as I dress the chicken. Fresh as frick.

I generally prefer the taste of still-beating human hearts.

A couple of verses from The Bible and we're all idiots (and you're all right).
The Hebrews were writing The Bible at a time when several peoples from all over the earth were giving undue value to the human heart. Probably because it sped up with emotional stimulation AND because in the age of blades (which began eons ago with the age of stone tools [i.e. The Stone Age]) men, from time to time, actually witnessed, via the laceration-opened chest, the convergence of Death with the cessation of heartbeats...
...So hard to accept that it took us so long to recognize that THE BRAIN be not only the center of senses (between the ears and behind the eyes as it is) BUT the MIDDLE OF LIFE...
anyway~~~~
~~~
~~~
Because the bronze age arse ignorant frickin stone age arse hebrews put a few verses of "peotry" in re The Heart
...We're still freaked the frick out of the concept that is eating one.
Even a bird's!
It's JUST another organ, men. It's important, yes. But NO MORE than the liver.

Had them some growing up. My grandmother fried them with her chicken. (She also scrambled hog brains in eggs, too.)
