This will be the best 1-2 team that aTm will face all year.

Thats all I got.

Still have no idea what to expect. If we play like we did yesterday, you guys have a real shot at beating us

Eh, I'm not as high on us as I thought I'd be after going 3-0 so far. Arkansas will be a tough test regardless and if we put forth another lukewarm performance like this past week, y'all will have more than a shot.

Maroon glasses here: I'm going with 11AM start, hot, against a team they knew they would beat. All led to a lackluster game. I think they'll play much better against somebody they know can beat them.

ETA: And has anybody noticed we have an Arkansas and LSU fan here, and the thread hasn't devolved into juvenile insults? I love this board.

Game could go either way. We aren't so hot and our offensive line has shown some weaknesses.

As bad as they are, I'm not very confident. Our offense is dreadfully inconsistent, the line blows, I think the QB is a bit of a head case actually, and the OC is not coming close to utilizing all of the talent.

Ags are overreacting a bit to this week I think, mostly in fear of what happened last year. I think we come out and win by 17 or so.

I will admit that a lot of it is from what happened last year.

Last year we slep-walked through two OOC games against crap opponents after "upsetting" a team that turned out to suck and then ran into a brick wall against Arky and were lucky as hell to escape with a W.

I can't help but feel that this year has been eerily similar and that if we don't get lucky again we'll take the L this time.

The difference is that Arky seems worse this year than last and our D is better, but damn, our offense is SO schizophrenic that I could see it falling into catatonia for a half against conference competition and then what?

I mean, we were up 49-3 at half vs. Ball State, which isn't sleepwalking at all. Saturday was absolutely a sleep walk, but I really just can't bring myself to read much in to it. It was just a shitty game from start to finish...early game, hot as frick, opponent we knew we would beat, etc. It's a pumper response I know, but after all the bullshite I've seen from other teams this year already, I really don't give a frick if we went 3 and out a couple too many times and gave up an extra 100 yards or so against a not-awful cupcake.

Wouldn't surprise me if that were the case, tbh.

Glad #Ags&Bacon2015 will be a prime time affair, if for no other reason than our side should be hyped up for it to start SEC play.

I'd also like to point out that Brian Polian knows Sumlin very well and will probably the most prepared coach we will face all year.

Good thing he didn't have the talent to actually beat us.

The MAC is a tough conference.

Toledo has already beaten two P5 teams. Central Michigan took Syracuse to OT. And Northern Illinois made Ohio State look really bad (had Alabama won their game I could see the pollsters jumping them into the #1 spot).

And Nevada has been tough in the past.

People who think we have a soft OOC schedule have no clue. The only real rent-a-win team is Western Carolina and they come late in the season.

Any truth to the rumors of Bert getting blasted at the bar scene every night?
