Head injuries are very scary for football players.

Apparently it was a migraine, not head trauma.

Luckily just a migraine. I've heard they're horrible. But this shouldn't affect his season in anyway.

Migraines are no joke. My mom always had them and actually spent time at a headache clinic in Chicago. The messed up part is that there isn't a whole lot that can be done for you while they're happening and you have to kind of just ride them out. There's also a lot more to them than just a really bad headache. Its like a full-body thing.

Best wishes to the kid.

I have had one in my lifetime when I was about 9 or 10. It's the only time I have ever cried (remember 9ish years old) for an extended period of time from pain and thrown up from pain.

Yeah, migraines are no joke. I have one every 2-3 months that'll sideline me for a couple days.

My neighbor is 71 one years old and he gets them about once a month. He's says the only thing that helps is pot.

He is also an A&M fan.

The neurophysiology behind this is pretty damn interesting.

thankfully, we found the source that triggered my migrains...after years of them, so bad that I couldn't see, throwing up, bed-ridden, unable to handle any noise, ect, we noticed that they always popped up after I ate chocolate...if you don't have migrains, you should praise the Lord for that.....if I don't eat chocolate, I don't get migrains

On an SEC note, Terrell Davis played TE Super Bowl against the Falcons with a migraine and ran around virtually blind. He said he doesn't remember what was in front of him, just that they'd hand him the ball near the goal line and he'd run forward as hard as he could

My wife's trigger is cinnamon. Can't eat it and frick Christmas time. She can't go into Kroger during the fall because those cinnamon brooms everywhere set them off bad

Weird. My wife had them all the time in college. Once we got married and had kids, she stopped having them.

Hmm, a food allergy perhaps? Glad to hear you aren't getting them anymore. Migraines are nasty business.
