I'm not sure. People take these message boards way to serious. I take message boards for entertainment value only.

It is a foot injury for a running back, that is never a good thing and has a higher probability of having lingering effects.

That's very tough for the man. Sorry to hear it for him and for Arkansas fans. That's going to put a lot of stress on Alex Collins.

depends on the particular injury. Some heal fine. I haven't need anywhere that stated which bone and type of fracture. He also has an insurance policy. I'm sure he makes more if whole season is missed. All the more reason not to push it and come back too soon.

According to his bio on arky page, he absolutely can redshirt this season.

Yea, unfortunately, it may put Arkansas in a position where an injury to Collins kills the entire season for them

Sucks hate to see any football player go down with an injury more so a season ending. Huge blow to Arkansas
