I do not think anyone would mistake me for an Arkansas fan, but anyone with eyes can see that victory was impressive.

It was total domination, and I do not care how down Texas was, Arkansas made them look more like Kansas than Texas.

Arkansas has had a crap two years prior to last season. They ended the season with tremendous progress and the Texas game just reinforced they are moving in the right direction.

I do not think Arkansas is about to win a national title, but they are playing really well in a really tough division.

False.

Arkansas beat Texas in our last meeting in the SWC and have a winning record against Texass since then.

People are MUCH more impressed when someone loses three in a row to a Saban-less LSU.

Arkansas is undefeated in bowl games against Texas. It just proves that with neutral refs they can't stop us.

Fun Fact: The lowest offensive output of ANY Power 5 team in ANY game last season was 59 yards by Texas against Arkansas.

Texas was terrible last year. We'll be much worse this year. I'd be shocked if we win 5 or 6 games. Strong will be fired after this season.

2015 will be rock bottom. ND will slaughter us. I am a realist.

In the past 35 years, Texas has had one good decade, playing in a shitty, overrated conference. The funny thing is that Arkansas still owned Texas in it's one good decade, by a 3-2 margin.

eh, it was a big SWC rivalry so i can see why the older fans are so into it

Exactly. And for most of the series, Texas dominated. Also there were so many times that the Hogs had the Horns beaten, only to lose in a heart breaking way.

And, of course, many times it had National implications.

I still wish we played Texas every year.

For Arkansas, it was a big deal. It's that simple.

You can't expect programs with limited success to gauge success the same way as programs that consistently win big. Everything is relative.

You LSU fans tickle me.
I sure do find it amusing that LSU struggles with lowly ole Arkansas every year.
I mean for someone who calls themselves "NFLU" shouldn't you be blowing us out?
You consider yourself elite but the last time you a had a shot to make history you couldn't even cross the 50 yard line. Let that shite sink in.

I'll admit your talent is superior to us but your coaching is inferior.
Deal with it.

LSU and Texas fans are a lot alike. The big difference is that LSU fans think they're better then Arkansas, while Texas fans think they're better then everyone. LSU fans talk down to us to make themselves feel better, while Texas fans do it as a sign of respect, because they wouldn't bother otherwise.

Nope. For you rock bottom will be in early 2016 when Charlie for sure gets his third year so Texas doesn't look like racists for firing their first black head football coach ever his second year.

When the truth that your program sux donkey balls is brought up you do the old faithful tactic and revert to leather helmet wins.

There is going to be a flood of tears coming out of Austin this year and an even bigger one in 2016.

You stupid bastards are rapidly becoming Georgia Tech (only athletically) and you don't even see it coming!

All the while Texas has only won one national title within the lifetime of most of the people that post on this board. Quite the underachievement for a program who firmly believes they're of the upper echelon in college football.

Arguably the most overrated college football program of all time, Texas has faced Arkansas twice in bowl games and left thrashed and embarrassed both occasions. In 2000, Texas was held to an all time Cotton Bowl Classic record low, -27 rushing yards. In 2014, Texas was again pummeled and held to less than 100 yards of total offense.

It's not that Texas just gets beat while playing SEC Arkansas in bowl games in the Longhorns home state, it's the way the beatings happen. Whipped, thrown around, destroyed, laughable are just a few words that come to mind.
