Geez what a fun sponge. It's frickin July and all we have is boringball until football season and you're complaining about 24 hours of UGA stuff. Unbelievable.
btw blame DJ for the programming, he picked all 24 hours of it.

You realize USA is playing for a world title in a couple of weeks right? The biggest tournament in the galaxy is going to be more important than reruns
Eta- not that I won't watch UGA day, just saying even if you don't like "boring ball", this is pretty awesome for our country

Thanks for the reminder WG. Really looking forward to re-watching 2005 LSU and 2000 Tennessee.

In womens soccer.
Womens.
soccer.
I would rather watch donnan-era reruns of UGA football than the biggest womens sporting event in the universe of the millenium.

I was talking about baseball ya old guy. Soccer didn't even register on my radar until you just mentioned it.

I think you'll be watching reruns of the world title in a couple of weeks.
Tune in on FOX, 9pm Sunday if you want to watch the soccer live.

frick that, the USWNT is legit. You're not going to find me watching women's basketball anytime soon, but Women's soccer is the sport as it was meant to be played. Very little flopping around and playing dead. Just last night, a 19 year old girl on the US team went up for a ball and hit heads hard with a german player. She was clearly dazed and the German player was bleeding everywhere. THEY BOTH STAYED IN THE GAME. Men soccer players are total pussies. The women are total bosses (and Alex Morgan and Julie Johnston are just nice to look at)

Pretty shitty scheduling.
That's just four games out of the day. They'll be playing the Herschel and Nique documentatires plus a bunch of other stuff. 24 hours is a large window to fill with constant programming.
Full schedule is released at 2PM.

I watched last night. It was passably entertaining, I guess, but I mean I'm never going to watch a replay of a womens soccer game. I was really respondin to this

That's great, but I'm not talking about importance. As soon as the womens world cup is over it'll be out of my mind and I'll go back to not caring about soccer again. I yearn for UGA football. I desire to rewatch classic games. Those reruns will keep me going the next few months til September. Soccer will not.

Well, yeah, it's clearly on a lower tier from football for us. But I'm probably going to record and shelve a lot of this programming while I watch the rest of the tournament tonight, Saturday, and Sunday, and use it as filler for the time between The Opening, SEC Media Days, Dawgnight, and Fall Camp. Otherwise, soccer has my attention for the next 5 days.

My comment was assuming boringball was soccer. I apologize
eta- and I agree, usually womens sports aren't very entertaining, but I'm enjoying this now, waiting for the EPL and Dawgs seasons to start again

a) it's only the biggest tournament in the galaxy for countries who don't play American football. aka not the US.
b) if it's so riveting and important, how come you got the date of the final off by a couple weeks?
Personally, I would rather watch a HW documentary than USWNT. Unless they are just keeping a camera on Alex Morgan the whole time. I would watch that.

that doesn't change the fact it's the most popular and biggest event in the world... I get NFL is more popular in the united states, that doesn't mean what I said isn't true

If the women played naked it would be fun to watch.

Last night was the 1st time I've watched a second of the WWC...
Enjoyed it, might watch a lil' of the Brits vs the Japs tonight, will pull for the Brits so we have a 4th of July weekend rematch with the limeys...

Soccer sucks arse. Women's soccer sucks double arse.

I'm sorry there's no '14 games on there whiz so you won't be able to fap to mason. There is a junior year Bobo game on there though so that may help get you through?

Forgetting the fact that the women's tournament is not nearly as popular as the men's tournament, rendering the "most popular and biggest event in the world" description inaccurate - you took umbrage with the fact that someone would rather watch CFB related material over the WWC. It doesn't really matter what the rest of the world deems to be the most popular when that isn't the case in America.
I'm not saying soccer isn't the most popular sport in the world, it just doesn't carry a lot of weight here. The most popular name in the world is Mohammed, but I'm not going to name my kid that.
