Grew up a UF fan. First game I was 5 months old in 1987. Grandparents had a RV and we made every home game as a nice large group. Then come college time went to OM. Lived in Mississippi and not good enough grades to go to UF.

My parents were UK fans since they grew up in Kentucky, surrounded by UK sports. They moved to Tennessee and dad got his B.S. from UT (parents are still Big Blue fans). My brother got his B.S. from UT and his wife got her B.S. from UT. My wife got her B.S. and M.S. from UT. I got my M.S. and MBA from UT.

As a family, we've poured a shite-ton of money into UT in tuition, books etc...so we are emotionally invested to support the school were we've spent all that cash.

I was born in baton Rouge, La. and grew up a big LSU fan. We moved to georgia, and then I transferred with my job back to Baton Rouge in 1981. (I was still a LSU fan) Everytime UGA fell behind in a game (I worked most saturdays) the guys I worked with gave me a hard time, even though I kept telling them I was a LSU fan. The harrassed me so bad I turned and started yelling openly for UGA. I LIKED UGA before then, but was solidly with LSU until they kept giving me a hard time.

Bitch I'm from Louisiana

I'm a side walker because my parents moved to Tennessee but anyone in my family who went to college went to LSU, besides me. I grew up around it. All my little league teams were the Tigers and we were P&G.

LSU alum, and I grew up in Baton Rouge.

Do ya ever get the feeling you cheer for your specific team, just because you're supposed to?
Growing up in Baton Rouge, LSU tended to be very likable at the time (70's through 90's). If you apply a non-sports analogy, the SEC was ruled by tyrants (Alabama football, Kentucky basketball), and LSU was the courageous underdog who rose up and challenged those tyrants, and held their own.

Mom is from SC and went to undergrad at Clemson. Dad is from San Diego and went to UCLA. He joined the navy after college as a nuclear engineer and was stationed in Charleston, where he met my mom who was spending her post grad years partying it up in Charleston..

Growing up I was a big UCLA fan.. I would go to Cali with my dad several times a year. Mom tried to make me a Clemson fan by introducing me to baseball as a child (Clemson was pretty good in baseball at the time)... Ironically, baseball made me into a SC fan.. watched SC make it to the championship game of the 2002 CWS. Eventually did my undergrad at SC and my mom despises me for it to this day haha..

Actually grew up an Ole Miss fan going to games in the 80's. Went to State because my brother was there and did a complete turn from red and blue to maroon and white.I am a graduate, as well as my wife and brother. My son will also be attending MSU in a few years.

Born a Gamecock, raised a Gamecock, I'm a student at South Carolina, then I'll probably die before 40 because I'm a damn Gamecock for life and this team has probably taken away at least a few decades

Uh, I'm mainly a fan of Wichita State but since we don't have a football team I'll say the teams that I "cheer for" in football

TCU - Grew up in Fort Worth

Clemson - My friend got me to watch one of their games and their offense is just so fun to watch...

Wisconsin - Won't lie, its because they're the badgers and I love that.

Indiana - bc they suck and its funny when they win

Ball State - See Indiana, but in the MAC.

Miss St. - I dunno, I just kinda subconsciously want these guys to win usually.
