Arkansas is like Oregon in football. Consistent top 15 team; even top 8 or so over the past 15 years or so. Just cannot win the championship. Several conference championships but just cannot get over the NC hump.

It’s baseball. Right or wrong, the call is made. You have the rest of the game to do something about it.
Certainly not going to find any sympathy from Arkansas fans about the refs potentially impacting the outcome of a game, that is for sure. We’ve been on the receiving side far too many times.

Arkansas is one of the hottest teams in NCAA at the moment. Shoot, even swept Tennessee. Getting some key players back from injury. Arkansas can win away games unlike Tennessee. Interesting take.

I think objectively the @Houston win is a pretty quality win. Even if Houston isnt top 8 by seasons end, that is a good win.
UNC is not very good this year, so beating them (ranked #1 at the time lol) is nice win but certainly not what it means most years.
Bama is a legit top 12 team imo.

He is that player you love when you are blowing someone out and he is scoring 15+; but that player to loathe when he scores <8 but thinks he is the best. Too emotional to be a pro.

Unbiasedly, I think Penn State will win by 10+. Auburn is going to need some serious help from turnovers/mistakes.

Let’s not get ahead of ourselves now. We have some major holes in our secondary that need to be cleaned up before we can think about that. Any team with a good passing offense, at the moment, can get their yards. Honestly, just glad to be competitive again and not losing to the North Texas/Western Kentucky/Colorado State/San Jose States of the world anymore. Damn it hurt to type that last sentence haha

My favorite part was the post game with Beamer where he got upset that someone asked him about Drew Sanders’ day against the cocks. Beamer got all pissy and “I’m not evaluating their linebacker play during the middle of the game”. Drew Sanders later awarded National defensive player of the week.

I don’t know. State did not look average to me. They were getting after it. Will be a good team this year. Arkansas definitely has room for improvement on the defense secondary (injuries playing a big role thus far) playing new guys.
