Alabama plays Auburn in Jordan-Hare which is never a good thing, despite the recent success there (outside of 2010 and 2013). Arkansas finally has a little more depth and Bielema's philosophy and scheme is totally in place. Their power running game proves too much for teams that don't have good defensive lines and/or linebacking units. Hence why they don't beat the 2 Alabama schools.

LSU has moderate success this year. Doesn't get embarrassed or flops randomly like last year. They most likely, I imagine, will return back to beating teams that use kindergarten gimmick offenses. Ole Miss is really hard to read. I would understand if they went anywhere from 5-7 or 9-3. Will be a tough game for Bama again.

Mississippi State will have a slight decline. Dan Mullen has proven himself to be a good coach that has kept MSU very consistent (in wins at least) and is much like a discount Mark Richt at a school that doesn't have that much tradition. The only reason I really have them declining is the fact Robinson is leaving, and he was SUCH an important player and even though they get back most weapons, it's too much. They'll stay above 8 wins but won't wow anybody in the process. TAMU tInclines a LITTLE. At least to the point in which they aren't getting massacred 59-0 or having the Mississippi schools clobber them. I don't, however, believe their record will reflect their internal improvement. See Bama post-2007/pre-2008.

Good defense and a stout running game will give LSU a chance to beat anyone. I expect 9-10 wins this year with 12+ a possibility with improved QB play, which I'm not expecting.

10-2

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I will say this, don't sleep on us. Defense will be very good along with a very good o-line and damn strong running game. If the QB's can just be good enough we could be in for a really good year. Just sayin!

10-2 or better

Okay.

LSU- with the best DBs in college football- beats Bama in BDS on a pick six off of "Jake" Coker in the 4th qtr.

recent success in Jordan Hare? You've won two games since 2001. One was in '09 where your national championship team beat our mediocre squad on a late drive. And then the blowout in '11.

Also I know the 2010 game is a bad memory for you but that happened in Bryant-Denny

If, and I repeat If, LSU can get moderate success from our QB position, we roll to SEC Championship

Have an upvote.

LSU goes 11-1 or 10-2. Harris starts by week 2.

I will probably be the only one to say this, but I think A&M wins 10 games this year.

Arizona State - W
Ball State - W
Nevada - W
Arkansas - Tossup
Miss State - W (at home)
Alabama - L
Ole Miss - Tossup
South Carolina - W
Auburn - Tossup
W Carolina - W
Vandy - W
LSU - W

I would not be surprised if they win two of the tossups. Sumlin will start feeling heat if they do not get better soon and if Chavis can make their D average, they will be extremely tough.

Which they had last year so you're essentially saying they will not improve. I doubt you'll be right. My guess is the added quality depth on both lines will mean 1-3 more victories than a year ago. 10-3 with a bowl win is my prediction for LSU at this time.
