Eddie Lacy is tGOAT Bama back. Yeldon is a second rounder IMO. Wouldn't surprise me to see someone like the Raiders take him.

TJ Yeldon will eventually be a better NFL running back than he was a CFB running back, but it's unlikely he goes in the 1st round. Running backs rarely go in the 1st round anymore.

2nd-3rd round, IMO.

I think he would fit great in a zone-blocking scheme offense like Denver, IYAM.

The best RB prospects barely make it into the first round these days. There will probably be no more than 3 taken in Rd 1.

I am betting under 3 in the first

I think he's a 3rd rounder

He's a real talent, but to a limited market. Running Back is already a position losing value every year, and Yeldon is an excellent third down back but taking him as an every down back at the pro level would be a risk. I would think he's second round, and wouldn't be shocked if he goes to the third.

3rd Rounder. He's a solid RB.

I'm thinking 3rd-4th round.

He's not an elite talent but he is solid in pass protection which can get him on the field faster in the NFL.

No. I wouldn't consider taking him before the 3rd.

Some pro scouts think he is overrated. And being that because of where he plays..

I doubt it. Running backs have a less-significant role in today's NFL offenses.

Nah, 2nd round tops. Running backs are getting to be a dime a dozen nowadays. It all depends on blocking schemes and the pass threat in the NFL. Well, unless you are a complete monster like AP.

I think the Ravens or Dolphins should add him. But I wouldn't use a first-round pick on a running-back either way. Their shelf-life is super short and the skill required at the position is less than all others.

Yeldon is predicted to go in the 2nd or 3rd rounds. Drafttek is the highest at 48 (2nd). Walter's got him at 64 (2nd) and CBS at 77 (3rd).

There are two RBs predicted to go in the 1st round. Gordon and Gurley. Gurley is a risk but most have him in the first.
