So if Miles doesn't go 10-2 or 11-1 then he's done a pretty terrible job then, right?

Even the most devout LSU hater would admit the Tiger's Defense and ST are top 5 worthy nationally with the potential to be #1 in each. That leaves the offense, coming off of a woeful passing season and upper tier rushing season. Most feel like the Tigers' rushing attack will likely set School records in 2015. Therefore, if(and that's a bit of wishful thinking no doubt)the passing attack simply reaches the mediocre status of the Lee/Jefferson years, the Tigers from BR could well be contending for the SEC crown once again. And obviously, if you contend for the SEC title, you're contending to make the playoffs. But the FPI, as others accurately pointed out, is focused on the talent level of each group, not on predicting the win totals.

I was a little surprised at Auburn being so low. I think they will be MUCH better than that. LSU could have a big year. They will have to feed the ball to Fournette more, though. Congrats to Arkansas for making a strong showing!

I think LSU is top 2 in the league this upcoming season with RB's, DB's, LB's, and WR. Think we will be above average at OL, but not as good as Arky. QB is the elephant in the room. We only need average there

Did you read the article? He isn't in jail.

Also. Auburn fans can not talk about a player getting arrested.

This is how I know that you are getting all of your football knowledge from reading trash talk on the SEC Rant.

LSU returns 15 starters and all of those Freshman last year that accounted for the majority of LSU's offense will be back.

8 starters back on offense.
7 starters back on Defense.

A ton of other contributors back as the starters lost are completely replaceable (except for L. Collins, who will be tough to replace). The VERY young team gets older, bigger, stronger, and more experienced.

LSU will be very good next year. Sorry to disappoint you.

I'm pretty sure we bring back 9 on offense and 8 on defense

I mean, when rating LSU's overall offense and defense, position by position, the team is absolutely stacked.

So I guess the rating makes some sense. The only positions on the field LSU is questionable at is quarterback and defense end.

They are loaded everywhere else. Not really an exaggeration, either.

However, quarterback is really important, as we've seen. But still, I think even with shitty quarterback play again next season, LSU can win at least 9 games. That's impressive with one of the worst QBs in the conference.

LSU, OM, Arky, and Ags are all too high IMO. LSU and OM are weak at QB and Allen is only marginally better. Ags are pretty good at QB, but, aside from Garrett, the defense still sucks as of right now.

Does ESPN have a bunch of Ole Miss grads working there? Ever since that one signing class back in 2013 they have been all over their jocks. Look for 7-5,3-5 or something like that.

Once Oregon gets Vernon Adams on the roster...we should slide past LSU.
