Bama is #1 "The SEC is going to do anything they can to protect having the #1 team"
Bama is #3 "The SEC is going to do anything they can to make sure Bama upsets the #1 team"
It literally works in any situation!

How do you rip a kids facemask off his helmet and not get a faskmask call?
How do you allow a defensive player to hold the arm of a receiver and not call PI?

Then why didn't LSU get flagged for multiple PIs, PF for pulling a guy's pants down, holding on a key third down conversion deep in their own side of the field, etc.?
It's not just that LSU fans think that Bama should get flagged. Some of them think that not only should we be flagged, but that they should be able to retaliate on the field and get away with it.
That's simply called "being a count."

In fairness, that's not unsportsmanlike in Baton Rouge. It's called "foreplay".

MSU/UAT will be the best game in the SEC this year - probably the best in the Nation this year.
and Bama will lose.
and Bama will lose.

I can't remember a single time in recent memory that Alabama has beaten LSU and LSU fans didn't claim it was because of cheating/refs.
Literally every year that Bama has won, the excuse is cheating.
This year - penalties: Bama 3-29, LSU 2-20. That's actually in LSU favor - unless you wear purple glasses and then somehow the numbers are reversed.
I guess that interception early in the game had no bearing on the outcome?
What about LSU D allowing Bama over 200 yards passing?
Or allowing Bama to convert 1-1 4th downs.
Or LSU not scoring a single rushing TD despite rushing the ball 56 times?
Apparently in the eyes of some LSU fans...nothing else matters except for tinfoil hat conspiracy theories. Forget about reality - you know, the key fundamental parts of the game like Offense scoring, defense stopping the opponent, and special teams not kicking out of bounds.

Take it one step further; they just announced that the Ole Miss-Miss. St. game would be played in the afternoon, with the Bama-Auburn game to be played that night (usually the other way around, right?). Why would they do that?
Here's why: After Bama beats Miss. St. both have one loss going into the above mentioned games.
Ole Miss beats Miss. St., meaning that the winner of the late game (Alabama-Auburn) goes to Atlanta.

Same way you pull down someone's pants and not get a PF call, I'm guessing?

Again, who is "they"? Are you saying that CBS decided to throw ESPN a bone here out of the goodness of their heart? Is that what you are saying? Are you saying the SEC forced CBS to do this? Please explain for the non-tinfoil hat wearers out here.

I read somewhere that a SEC team can only be on CBS 5 times each year. This Saturday would be 5 for Bama.
ETA: This is where i read it.
quote:
Current rules between the network and the SEC limit the CBS to five selections of an individual school per season, according to Hugh Kellenberger of the Jackson Clarion-Ledger, and Saturday’s game against Mississippi State will be Alabama’s fifth this season (Florida, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and LSU).
Sorry this derails your conspiracy theory.
