Here's why: After Bama beats Miss. St. both have one loss going into the above mentioned games.
Ole Miss beats Miss. St., meaning that the winner of the late game (Alabama-Auburn) goes to Atlanta.

I'm aware most of you are trolling, but I don't understand how you can be so confident going into this game. I mean, you lost to Ole Miss (Best opponent so far), who is a substantially inferior team compared to us.

Not positive you get fricked here. There will be no holding calls on Bama but you know that already.
U only have ole Miss left, so if you beat Bama worse you can be is 1 lost. If bama win and then loses to Auburn and you lose to Ole Miss everyone in SEC has two losses and we could be screwed. So maybe they play it straight up and call game fair.

They lost to LSU and Auburn. Teams that we beat by a combined 20 points.
