I thought MSU won both sides of the line of scrimmage.

They also won third down for most of the game.

Congratulations, you have a really great team.

You are right. These Miss schools have awesome lines and it's the Alabama teams that are loaded down with the 4 and 5 start linemen. That State DL is nasty.

Auburn had 232 yards rushing against State which is more than I expected. We did have trouble running the ball inside the red zone, but I sort of blame Malzahn's play calling for that. If you have first and goal from the 8 or 9 yard line against a defense as good as State, you are not going to score a touchdown by the giving the ball to CAP 2 or 3 times between the tackles

Auburn is clearly not running the ball between the tackles as well as we did last year, so Malzahn probably needs to diversify the running game. He probably needs to call more toss sweeps, quarterback draws, and maybe mix in a few option plays like State did Saturday instead of going with the zone read on every play

State front 7 is the best in college right now. Nasty frickers. We knew that before yesterday, but they really balled out in front of the home crowd to make it obvious.

Wait till AU plays OM holy piss

As good as MSU's front 7 is, it doesn't compare to the Rebs land shark group

They threw LSU lines around like rag dolls. For that matter, so did Auburn.

The progression of posts on the rant is awesome after each State win. Beat LSU, everyone laughs and shits on the tigers. Beat Aggy, they suddenly discover state is good and defend against the trolling. Welcome on board, Auburn.

Parity in the sec is good for this board. Even the gumps have slowed their (t)roll.

Really good lines on both sides of the ball
Elite athlete playing QB
Several legit receiving threats (even without Jameon Lewis, which is scary)
A legit RB

I guess their weakness is secondary. Coates got free behind them more than once or twice, but he had some bad luck/bad calls go against him.

MSU is the best team in the country.

I really like everything about them. Very physical team.

Benardrick McKinney is a monster.

They're going to win both sides of the line of scrimmage against every team they play.

They're the most complete team in the nation.
