Can the SEC sustain this level of success for long?

There is an old saying that applies here:
Look how hard it has been for Florida to rebuild. Zuck and Boom are =/= and have shown that otherwise good coaches still have trouble winning in the SEC even at Florida. I got news for you, if you can't win at Florida forget about it.
Look at all the power house coaches the SEC dons every Saturday. These guys are good Xs and Os guys but they can all recruit. The TV deal with ESPN gives every school exposure on a national level. So now even the lesser programs can sell national exposure that was not possible a decade ago. As result every SEC program can recruit nationally. At Ole Miss we have pulled recruits from California and New York. I never thought that possible for us.
With the level of recruiting and coaching that the SEC demonstrates it will be difficult to dominate. Programs like UGA are restless. Let Bama fail to get the big prize for the coming years and Nick is going to lose control. LSU is in a love hate relationship with Les. I see the SEC going through a major adjustment in the next 3 to 5 years.

Yes. The talent in the south isn't going anywhere. We have Texas, Georgia, Louisiana, and Florida in our footprint duh

We've had an argument for being the best conference for most of my lifetime. Even when we probably were not, we were close.
I see us going back to that at some point, where media bias might say the Big 12 or Pac12 are better depending on the year, and every so often they may be. But we could slide a good bit and still be the best conference. Just be prepared to listen to media talk about how an extremely top heavy Pac 12 may be better than the SEC at the first sign of decline. It'll be annoying, but we'll still keep winning most of the titles, I imagine.

Yes. The southern athletes are too poor/dumb to have any options other than play athletics to raise their station in life.

It may be difficult for any one school to build a dynasty, but the league sure as hell can!
There are 8 to 10 schools now that can win a NC on any given year.

The only challenge to SEC dominance will come from the Pac 12.
They are the closest to us on resources, and there is some talent on the West Coast.
The ACC has to compete too closely with SEC teams for recruits. They may have a decent team or two, but the conference as a whole will not be a challenge.
Texas is full of talent, but most of the top talent goes to Texas, Oklahoma or the SEC. The Midwest and Northeast is full of great Division III players. The Wisconsin and Ohio Conferences in D3 are dominant nationally like the SEC is in FBS.
The problem is that a lot of the same type of players are playing at Big Ten and MAC schools. Sure, theres a few good players in the Big Ten, but even fewer from the Midwest. If you see a great player at a Big Ten school, they are usually from the South or the West Coast.
In short - talent is on the West Coast and in the South. Should be where you see the dominant teams for quite a few years.

As long as the south cares more, the south will dominate college football.
More money pours in because SEC fans care more. Better facilities are built to attract recruits, better coaches are hired and paid more to coach the athletes and teams. SEC wins.
So unless another area starts caring as much as the SEC does and can compete with the money that pours into SEC programs, the answer is yes to remaining dominant.

My point is that with parity in the SEC it may be difficult to separate yourself from the pack.
As result, the other power conferences who still have the haves and have nots more so than we do, will look better on paper. It will be easier to go undefeated. I know some here think the SEC Champ gets a bid to the playoff.

If both UK and Vandy become competitive, with Ole Miss and MSU being competitive, you already have USCe there, then the SEC becomes almost impossible to go undefeated.

I think the SEC will always be at the top, but can see a few years in which we cannibalize each other, and don't make it into the playoff.

This won't happen. In California the bars open early on Sunday and not on Saturday even though college football games start at 9 AM. Hell, more than half the guys out here can't even throw a football. The South is the only region where the majority understand college football is a "big deal".

We have the most fertile recruiting grounds, best coaches, best fanbases, and most importantly the money keeps flowing. The SEC may go down for a couple years here and there but never for an extended period of time.

This is why the SEC didn't sit on its laurels. At the height of success it expanded into Texas and Missouri, ensuring a future pipeline to even more money and even more recruits.
