What part of that profile was hacked?
Accessing a page by manually typing a URL in the address bar isn't hacking.

That page was downloaded and edited locally. Whoever did it just changed the address to appear that it was on the bama website before they took a screen grab. Anyone can do it, really easy.

HACKING Definition: a person who illegally gains access to and sometimes tampers with information in a computer system.
SOMETIMES, you do not have to change information to be considered a HACK... A HACK is when someone gains access to INFORMATION in a computer system that was not on public display That is what happened in Auburn's case.

If the webmaster or network admin sets the page's permissions to readable by everyone or moves it to the public HTML directory, and then someone proceeds to read it, that isn't a hack; that's just incompetence.
You're familiar with incompetence, though. Your posting habits exhibit it in spades.

That's a great argument, except the bio was neither illegally accessed nor "not on public display." It was, in fact, on public display. What it wasn't was advertised. The link wasn't shared, but it still existed and was still accessible from an external connection. If you accidentally erase your bookmarks but type in "secrant.com" in your address bar, you're not hacking secrant.com. You're just going to the address without having a link to click. Same thing happened with the bio. If, on the other hand, Chicken made this thread private and you managed to access it via password guessing or holes in the code, then it would be hacking even if he spread the link to the thread far and wide.

I'll put it in simpler terms just in case he can't understand your very accurate description.
What happened with that page was was neither hacking nor illegal. It was the functional equivalent of successfully guessing and then dialing an unlisted phone number.

No, they went to facebook on your computer while you were logged in. Even if they DID "hack" your facebook by resetting your password, answering security questions, etc., it's called "Social Engineering," not hacking.
