Okay. I guess I'll have to take your word about the goings on with the Alabama boards. If anyone would would know, it would certainly be you lil bro.

A true Bammer Hero.

No, a sad Texas born and raised man who adopted Coach Bryant as His role model and Alabama as his team. We've got enough home grown idiot fans without the dregs from other States.

Why he couldn't have adopted Tom Landry and the Cowboys is beyond me.

There have been pictures on here and other boards of Alabama fans trying to get his autograph. Wanting Updyke's autograph and seeing him as a hero just because he destroyed a landmark on Auburn's campus is the very definition of lil bro

I will agree with all but the "Hero" part. He is more of a novelty item which is bad enough.

Isn't that the same guy with him in both pictures? He's wearing the same shirt and has the same hairdo.

I googled "harvey updyke poses with bama fans" and got the exact same pictures you did...and no others...

Shhh. You're screwing up the auburn narrative of being victimized by hordes of crazed Bama fans.

Harvey and the tea bagger prowling Bourbon at the same time. It's a wonder nothing else happened

obviously we're not going to stop talking about one of your dipshits just because you want to forget.

He'll be one up-ed by another bama fan soon though, and like ricky or the tea bagger he too will fade into, 'oh that's all he did' lore.

They're never going to get that money from him. It was dumb to seek such a high amount of restitution. If they truly wanted to punish him they needed to think this through a little harder. if they try to put him in jail long enough to "work off" the fine it would get thrown out as cruel and unusual.

The funny thing is Auburn fans were claiming Bama fans would step up and pay this debt for him. This puts a dent in that theory, doesn't it?

Not paying his bills. More Bama street cred for him.

I doubt anyone said this other than tongue and cheek. At least I never saw it, but i also don't go to ITAT. If it was said, then that person was dumb.

I only visit this forum and a UAB board I don't post on. If I saw anyone make this claim it was here.

OK so the quote was a little different. Same intention.

The problem with all this is that some Bama booster will probably end up giving him a place to live rent free with no bills just to brag about having him living at one of his places.

I'm sure oBAMA will bail him out.

I think the guy could get the cheeze if he did one of those online money raising things. Seems like Bamers would support him. You know deep down they all had a bit of enjoyment out of the deed.....what's $10 for that?
