Real tough draw for them..and their prize for winnin it will be a trip to ULL, where they're nearly unbeatable.

Forgot the #4

Jacksonville St - Houston Nutt's nemesis.

They are #92 in the RPI so they aren't terrible.

I'm not sure I have the faith in the postseason Rebs. I hope Swayze works it's magic

JSU is playing good ball right now. They won their conference tourney and have the talent to beat anyone if they play their A game. Beat MSU a few weeks ago.

Yup. I doubt we even try to save our ace for the next game- JSU is good enough to beat us.

Someone posted the RPIs on twitter

Ole Miss 14
Washington 25
Georgia Tech 35
Jxnville state 98

That's pretty stout but I like our chances at home. I doubt Washington has seen anything close to Swayze. Georgia tech is hot though they just won the conference tourney as a 9 seed.

Yeah it's not great overall. U-Dub can pitch - I'd rather a team with bats that our pitchers can silence.

Ga Tech is clearly hot and will be confident.

Would rather Jackson St compared to Jacksonville St - it's not a slam dunk we rest Ellis now.

The committee tried to screw Ole Miss, but they will be the best team in their regional. I expect them to win it and move on.

Nothing new by the selection committee, but yes I think we can win. We were in the talk for a national seed for a reason. I have faith.

Why would the committee collectively decide to screw OM?
No offense, but highly doubtful.

i thought the biggest shock was Ole Miss wasnt even in contention for a national seed per the committee head.

Last 3 seeds were between Ull, LSU, TCU, Vandy, and Rice.

They have done it several times. Nothing new by the committee.

What really sucks about our draw is that in every projection I've seen Washington and Tech were 2 seeds.. Instead, they wind up the 2 and 3 seeds in Oxford... It is what it is though... Just win game 1 and go from there.
